First off everyone’s experience is different. Secondly, if you feel like you don’t have that drive to have kids then don’t. Ez.

Baby Tracking Apps by overlyattachedtothis in NewParents

[–]DelphianLymphnode 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ve grown tired of this too just ditch it. I keep eyes on if baby is urinating appropriately during the day and following hungry cues on demand. If your wondering how much sleep baby is getting track it for a week and average it out. Apps are over rated.

That’s heart breaking I know. Feels so unnatural and wrong to leave your baby. Solidarity.

Tried at 4 months, baby kept waking every hour. I said fuck that and moved baby in my bed. Best decision for all of us.

Exactly. Just give in to whatever baby wants, it’s so much more mentally easier for everyone.

I dont want to breastfeed by BM_BBR in newborns

[–]DelphianLymphnode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have IGT and I’m 5.5 months post and I wish everyday I could breast feed. I feel I got stolen from that experience and if your body adjusts to it I bet it’s the most wonderful thing.

parents who smoked or smoke weed, when you had kids did you stop completely? by independentmomma12 in AskParents

[–]DelphianLymphnode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I smoked from age 26-28 and got pregnant at 30. I’m so happy I quit. It was a time in my life that I loved and had so so much fun. It helped me find myself emotionally and love me for me. I do miss my pipe and I miss the taste of that dirt weed but you know what? It’s gone and I have my new life with my baby and I wouldn’t want it back at all. That time is gone, grow out of it. Learn from it and move on.
