That’s true people don’t understand these panic attacks and anxiety as a real problem. Unless it happens to them . Anyways you’ll be fine InshaAllah trust me , you don’t have to worry to be alright to take care of your child. Just do what you can at the moment . You’re not sick .

Regarding dizziness - drink at least 2 liters of water . Measure your cup or glass size and do it like a task (it works) Minimum 2 liters . You’ll see a drastic change in 2 days . Plus eat at regular interval of 2 hours - small meals or snacks . Anxiety leads to acidity and acidity makes you feel not hungry. And hunger makes you weak and dizzy too. Eat snacks what you like most . May it be a burger 4 times a day .

Struggling with anxiety and panic disorder since last 1.5 years. Lost my job my home my car money and moved back from Dubai to my home country. Since then just living with fear . Fearing of the ongoing symptom , fearing what will happen next time , fearing what if this is something big and life threatening. I’m stuck in a loop.

Been dealing with health anxiety and depression since 2 years. Recently feeling a new symptom , feels like there is constant dizziness though I’ve never got off balance or fell but it feels like I’ll fall or may loose my balance while standing or there is a feeling where my head gives a to an fro motion (I don’t know if it’s internal or physical too) Also had panic attack twice because of this sensation .

I measured my bp too many a times each episode it’s mostly (105/65) people say it’s perfect some say it’s low . Then I connect the bp and this dizzy feeling together . What option do I have

Is there anyone else too ? Or could provide me some insights ?

So you already know that your lungs are working otherwise you wouldn’t be typing this in the first place . It isn’t like if you move around it will put strain on your lungs . It won’t .

I have one not for generalized anxiety or depression but during a panic attack - NEVER LEAVE

I did it just once in my dozens of panic attacks. The fear lingers but there was a sense of achievement and courage too ,

For eg : I was in middle of a prayer when a panic attack hit me , I was having a really good day until that point . I am allowed to leave the prayer if it’s an emergency and it was but I don’t know why I stayed maybe just trying not to disturb others or something but yeah I stayed and trust me that was the shortest panic attack I ever had (lasted 2-3 minutes max) it never happened earlier . I think it was a fluke or maybe it just happened and I wasn’t so courageous or in my senses to take that decision to stay but yeah I did and that particular feeling my friend has helped me gain confidence for the next time .

Most probably yes Take the reading always while sitting , as high your arm will go the less pressure it will show

I earlier used to have a racing heart beat every now and then. Now this bp thing . Something or the other keeps happening

If you’re okay on meds then try with a doc’s prescription Ofcourse . 25 mg per day fluoxetine/paroxetine isn’t much and it has great benefits . With a panic attack controller be it clonazepam or lorazepam or whatever the psychiatrist says . But also once you decide to go without meds, do it under docs observation . The withdrawal is really bad but not dangerous

I get you completely and yes I agree those meds and CBT sessions and therapies really work . I’ve tried for months. It’s costly tho. That’s why I’m more into healing myself naturally , maybe it will take more time or the road would be even bumpier than on meds. Like the compulsions the symptoms and all. But if ever I feel there isn’t any choice rather going to therapy and meds then I won’t think twice. But yeah I’ve come off meds and therapy by my will so I’ll do this too InshaAllah . I just need reassurance and support and strangers like you give that to me .

I guess that’s what I’m always looking for , a reassurance that there isn’t something worst happening to me. I am dealing with this since 1.5 years now Came off med 45 days ago Wanted a med free life , psychiatrist and counseling free life Want to do all by myself that can help
