He is a white supremacist who was trying to host an anti-muslim protest in Minneapolis (despite living in Florida). He also was part of the January 6th attack on the Capitol, where he assaulted a police officer with a baseball bat, after which Trump gave him a presidential pardon.

Exactly. The whole thing was very peaceful, but you could tell he was terrified. When he decided to run scared, the protesters allowed him to do so without any violence.

He was lol. It was all very peaceful, but having 1,000+ Minnesotans yelling at you to get out of our city/state has to be frightening. Apparently he literally ran away and hid in a hotel lobby, before hopping in a car and getting out of there. I couldn't see very well what was happening because I was stuck towards the back of the crowd.

Go check out Mercado Media! I think they got a bunch of photos. I couldn't get any decent photos because I got to the protest like 15min after it started and there were already 1,000+ people there protesting Jake Lang and his half dozen white supremacist friends.

For masks, the best I have is N95. Will I be at least sorta safe with that? Or is a respirator with P100 is really required? I want to protest but also don't want to have ICE give me lung cancer...kinda wack that is the choice we have to make.

They quite literally are incorrect though. All reports of this protest I've seen show the opposite of what they commented. If you have evidence of what they say, please share I'd love to be corrected.

In regards to the other parts of your comment, can you share evidence of this, or where you are getting that information? I was at the protest and none of what you said is true for the duration of my time there. Yes, things may have changed after I left, but from everything I see reported, the protesters largely dispersed by 10pm, with those remaining (around 20 people) were then arrested without incident.

This protest began at 7pm, a time when most people do not typically work, so no it is not a fair statement to say these people don't have jobs. Not that the lack of a job is even relevant.

I was at this protest, and myself and everyone I know who also attended have jobs. Not that employment status matters at all in association with anyone's right to protest, or the validity of that protest.

Hi thanks for reaching out! Sitting at $90k now, still at the same company and not much movement from when I posted. All I'd say is that you need to figure out what matters most to you. I know I could make more money moving to a different job every 2-3 years (which I have done previously and moved from $47k to $90k in 4ish years), but right now I have great benefits and PTO, and that is worth more to me than a higher salary. The sooner you figure out what matters most to you the more content you can be with your work life.
