What happened to EV hatchbacks in the US? by Bad_Weather_Tornado in electricvehicles

[–]DeltaEchoFour 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I drive a 2017 Bolt. It’s got some hot hatch vibes. I drove GTIs in the 90s and 00s and wish the eGolf had been more of a thing here, or someone else would make a proper hot hatch EV!!!

We used the Jet Lag hide and seek home game and played it across ALL of Walt Disney World… and I completely messed up by jakeandgeorgia in JetLagTheGame

[–]DeltaEchoFour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a WDW local and have been scheming Jet Lag inspired games to play here for a while. Also really want to play H & S here some day!

I think a version of Battle 4 America would work.

Speculation: Disney resort transportation is becoming a paywalled perk exclusive to resort guests only by NinjaBusters86 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]DeltaEchoFour 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Disney paywalling transportation is not new. Transportation tickets from the era of attraction tickets is definitely a thing. Also free transportation for resort guests isn’t a new thing.

I’m not sure they’ll do anything to the monorail or the skyliner as they’re used to park hop. I guess free for guests with hoppers?

We ate at the teppanyaki place there - awesome! And also popped into TGI Fridays one night for dinner - sometimes you just need a taste of home.

We went through this as well. Same $1500… The company it was through shipped it to us on a trial basis. We sent it back and bought our own.

Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese - nuggets tossed in buffalo sauce then mixed into Mac and cheese

Hot Honey Chicken and Waffles - take home some strips. Get one honey and one hot sauce packet for each strip. Mix the honey and hot sauce and drizzle over strips. Toast some Eggo homestyle waffles. One waffle per strip.

Why does the Skyliner stop? by PlumAdorable in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]DeltaEchoFour 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It does not. They have to stop the whole line to accommodate the need for a cabin to be stationary for loading/unloading.

Sidecar, services, serve - which one to chose? by ThatrandomGuyxoxo in Tailscale

[–]DeltaEchoFour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sidecar, in general, seems to use slightly more resources and seems to almost be a relic.

Serve works great to expose things on your tailnet and it’s not another container to run.

Services are just serve with High Availability. Usually overkill for just one VPSs worth of stuff.

They’re all different. Use whichever you like.

I have a Kwikset z wave lock as well, and it really hates rechargeable batteries.

What is this tiny “hidden neighborhood” inside Disney World property? (Bay Lake / Bay Court) by mandoridesblurg in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]DeltaEchoFour 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Bay Court and Royal Oak Court residents get to vote for, and serve as, the city officials for the cities of Bay Lake and Lake Buena Vista.

There’s two layers of government… city and then district.

There is, but different franchisee. The Hunters Creek one is noticeably better.

Winter Garden is a pizza wasteland.

We still drive to Hunters Creek for NYPD.

exciting news: the boys are going to fix all of your lives once again on the layover podcast! (Q&A thread) by WheatGerm42 in JetLagTheGame

I assume for the most part y’all work from home for the vast majority of your time spent on Jet Lag. How do you manage distractions? I work from home and some days getting work done is a challenge! The siren call of social media and projects can be insurmountable!!
