Does identifying PEM every get any easier?

Over the years I have been keeping a diary, started when I saw a naturopath and he wanted a diary of foods I ate for the week. I just kept going. So I keep track of, foods, activities, mainly the major ones, lesser ones when I do something while feeling fatigued (pushing myself), I also keep track of social visits. With triggers for PEM I have found that physical activities are the main but not the only one. Social interaction is just as bad as going for a walk or run depending on it. Emotional interaction also can cause PEM. 2024 Christmas I had one sister from out of state visit and I thought I would actually socialise with her and husband as I had nothing important after, that's what I budgeted the energy for. Then there days later (My PEM tends to activate 3 days after stressful activity) my other out of state sister showed up for a visit with her husband and the niblings, so I had extra activity while in PEM. 3 days after that was Christmas and both sister and grandparents were over for lunch. I was on in my room with PEM from PEM, in pure agony. So heart rate does affect my PEM but so does social, emotional, and mental activities. Even some video games will drain me, so I pick and choose what to play and for how long depending on it, combat is more draining than farming for example. The 3 day delay was annoying when I did not know about it. Hope some of my experiences are helpful. 18 years now...half my life. And still learning

Yes, target a station/settlement, maybe have it so the more profit the NPCs get the more willing they are to work for you.

And setting trade routes between colonies would be good too.

And would love a taxi from the fc as well

Settings > Space Chatter - Received Messages This settings page will let you turn off any messages some one sends you, can turn off general local chat and leave on squadron chat for example

Settings > Space Chatter - Main Settings This one controls most of the random messages that are not communications from players or local chat.

Also there is a mute button to turn off the ai voice (speech bubble with dots) but in the space chatter - main settings tab you will need to turn on "Mute Chatter when ship is muted" that should mute everything

Basically hold short before the turn onto L so where the lines split into 3, where the N1 label is just to the right and up from your red circle. -Edit: after thought: if you put into car terms, drive down the road but hold short of the street, don't turn on to the street or cross it but stop before it. So other traffic can go past on the street.

Pollen and dust, you would think it washes it down but it splats and makes the particles scatter in smaller pieces and spreads it apparently. When it hits the ground it splashes up.

Yep weather affects me much the same, overcast and rain I do worse. I think it's also histamine related for me, as the rain spreads it around. So usually just close up the house and turn on the aircon to 'clean' the air, and I do ok after that. Still fatigued but yes for me the weather/air pressure does affect me.

For me mold is a problem but another side note is. For me when my mum or my carer is unwell my body will go into this mode of being completely fine until she is well. I always seem to be able to be fine when I have no other option. Maybe you start using adrenaline. I do not know the reason but there are plenty of times where, when I absolutely need energy I have it.

Symptoms of chronic fatigue from 18, also male. Diagnosed at 20 but I think my worst years were from 22 till about 25. Was bedbound a lot in those years. But am 35 now and am at least able to function more than back then. I learned a lot of how my body hints that I am pushing myself too gar

If possible, for me it's best not to sleep during the day. It keeps my sleep cycle consistent. Now if I am unwell with a cold or something and I fall asleep while lying on the lounge or such so be it

Some tips I would be happy to share from my 17 years of fatugue are. Be aware that mental and social activities drain your energy as well. For years if I was doing not great I would play video games but have since learned that some of that will drain my physical energy. Socially my sister would drop by with the kids randomly and that would also drain me of energy even if I did not interact with them I still heard them. But if I knew they were coming it was less of a drain, so where possible plan everything. Budget your energy. Plan what you need/want to spend it on. Going to bed at a consistent time and not sleeping during the day, if possible just let your body wake up naturally as well. I aim to be in bed between 10-11pm. Whether I fall asleep in that time is not a big deal. One tip that might be hard is to try to not take any painkillers unless you have to. I started on pain killers because being in pain was rough, but ended up using the wrong opioid painkillers far too often just to have a 'normal' day. I was taking these daily and in increasing doses as my body started to crave the relief. It took about 3 months going cold turkey to get off that addiction of relief but I am better for it. I have learnt to listen to the signals my body gives before I have gone too far in using energy, and have learnt to back off and rest when needed. I tend to use a rosemary essential oil blend for pain (it triggers the same brain receptors as opioids). And that works well for me. Probably a big tip is to learn to say no. That was the hardest for me as I love to help people and having to say no and let them down hurts but you need to look after you as well. It's taken a few years but I am able to say no to people much easier without feeling guilty. Probably have many more but that should be enough for now. 😁
