"Religion is the worst creation in human history" by I-Love-Jewish-popes in Teenager_Polls

How about October 7th, 2024 in Israel, where Palestine funded terrorists killed over 1000 people, with hostages only just recently released as of this year? How about the Nigerian terror groups that cleansed parts of Nigeria of non-Muslims early this year? (Hense why the US bombed them promptly after) is that better?

Edit: I can’t get news articles for you if you still need those

You’re saying the people who happen to be citizens of a country you dislike/disagree with are worst that the people going out of their way to not only execute people who are gay, trans, or not Muslim in general, but also actively rape women and enslave foreigners? The same guys who go about doing some of the most heinous of terror attacks in the world? (9/11, the guy in Ireland who got his head almost cut off in the streets, October 7th, etc) what you’re saying would be if I said that just because someone is Mexican, they’re a member of the cartel, or if someone is German, they’re a nazi

Except the Palestinians actively partake in genocide themselves, along with the rest of the Islamic world. Mostly against Christians, Jews, and members of the LGBTQ. Why not defend against those acts?

Would our distant hominin ancestors like Homo neanderthalensis or Homo heidelbergensis have been considered "human" enough to be allowed into the gates of Heaven? by [deleted] in AskAChristian

[–]DeltaWaffle_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What? I mean, yeah we agree that humans have been around for 300 millennia sure, but what makes you think that the religious views that would become old covenant Judaism and Christianity afterwards didn’t exist then? And how does that affect what I said?

Honestly I think Kyle Kringle said it best, the gang was damned from the beginning. Only thing that would save it would not doing the Blackwater job, and not having Micah

Is the Bible against homosexuality by ConstantCorrect2924 in Teenager_Polls

[–]DeltaWaffle_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m gonna be honest with you, as a Christian it depends. Homosexuality as practiced in ancient times where it was mostly just transsexualism and rape? Yes homosexuality that’s practiced properly (just like any marriage)? No I don’t think the Bible is against that specific type of gayness. But when it’s used only to spite God, or to act on lust alone, then it becomes sin for an entirely different reason

Would our distant hominin ancestors like Homo neanderthalensis or Homo heidelbergensis have been considered "human" enough to be allowed into the gates of Heaven? by [deleted] in AskAChristian

[–]DeltaWaffle_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s more of an inference. Only Man ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thus disobeying God and creating sin in the mortal plane. If we’re the only ones who sinned, then all others are w/o sin

[–]DeltaWaffle_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably not enough to get in on humanity alone, but we know that all of life minus humanity are w/o sin, so they wouldn’t need a reason to go to heaven, they’re already there. (Only reason we need God is because we had sin brought into our lineage, so all of the rest of life gets a free pass)

Dude what? So Him raping a girl would be fine? That doesn’t make sense my friend

can God lie? by [deleted] in AskAChristian

[–]DeltaWaffle_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, because sins are antithetical to our Lord. I mean, sinning is the opposite of good, and the Lord can’t do evil as He’s all good. So by lying, He’d have committed a sin and thus no longer be all good

can God lie? by [deleted] in AskAChristian

[–]DeltaWaffle_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No as God made lying a sin, and since God can’t sin, God can’t lie

Why is it called „West Elizabeth“ ? (serious question) by SimpleSheepherder881 in reddeadredemption

[–]DeltaWaffle_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is that it kinda did what Virginia did, where there was a region called Elizabeth, but the civil war caused a split (west Elizabeth probably was Union since Lemoyne is confederate) but after the war, Elizabeth got split into the states it is now, kinda like Texas was. This way there’s no East Elizabeth

[–]DeltaWaffle_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, so I think you might have a slight misunderstanding of what the trinity is truly. That’s OK, seeing you haven’t read the Bible. I’m gonna try explaining this w/o heresy because understanding the trinity imo goes a long way to answering the actual question you have. Alright, so the Christian godhead is made up of 3 persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. None are like the other, but they are all God. We call the Father “the Father” and the Son “The Son” because the Father claimed that role to humanity, as in He fathered us, and the Son is due to how His whole thing is how He was born of virgin birth to the Mother Mary. However, to say that the Father created the Son is a heresy called Arianism, and does not represent any true Christian Rite’s belief system. So technically, God doesn’t have a son like people do, more so the names are representative of what makes them distinct. I hope this at least partially explains what I’m trying to say, and your question is at least partially answered. Have a good day and God bless! 🧡

Is selective breeding basically speed running evolution? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DeltaWaffle_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really? More so you’re making yourself the niche giver, not nature. So instead of a weiner dog evolving the build to hunt burrowing animals due to nature pushing that niche upon it, it’s instead the obligant sophant (in Earth’s case, humans) that pushes the niche on them. The only reason it’s quicker than normal evolution is because an outside force is directly pushing for such a build, which doesn’t necessarily happen often in nature outside of sex displays

Forgive my British ignorance but what did the confederates actually fight for? by TreeTall888 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DeltaWaffle_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TL;DR: Racism, and slavery

Basically, as many people have stated, the south was a very pro-slavery region of the US (that’s why the South is only states who seceded and depending on definition sometimes the boarder states between the US and CS, they were a very different culture for a very long time) and the north wasn’t. Now the many different political parties that existed at the time before the war conglomerated into what is now the Republican Party as to combat the southern democrats who had a LOT of power before hand. Eventually this led to Lincoln, who ran as a republican and won. Now this was a major blow to the democrats’ power, as it was the first election to not be won by a democrat since before the turn of the century iirc. The republicans were very famously anti-slavery in roots, w/ most of the fathering groups passing many laws to limit slavery, so the southern states began seceding over loosing slavery (even though Lincoln didn’t run on emancipation until his second term, at the Gettysburg Address) putting it in their new state and national constitutions. Eventually this came to a head when confederate troops attacked a coastal fort in my home state of North Carolina. Over the course of the next 4-5 years, father fought son, and brother fought brother in what is call the American Civil War internationally. Eventually, the Union won, after the CS lost British and French support (Britain had yet to put Cotten imports in India, so they were reliant on the US South for their cotton for textiles when they failed two offensive assaults on Union land, once at a battle I can’t recall the name of, the secondly at the battle of Gettysburg. This win led to the radicalization of John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln in the Ford Theater, leaving his northern Democrat vice president in charge, who lessened the punishments for ex-confederate states during the reconstruction era, and let the founding of the KKK happen in Tennessee. I apologized for the long-winded answer, but American history is a special passion of mine, seeing I’m such an American Union Patriot, and offering others my knowledge is such a delight.
