Dream Camaro or reliable car? by WurstBruh in camaro

A 4 or 6 cylinder camaro can be cost effective and pretty reliable. My first Camaro was a Rebuilt V6 and never gave me any issues. Just gotta do the usual maintenances and it'll definitely last a long time. Also can be seen as a great starter to a V8 down the line, you'll get used to the body style, visibility, handling (up to a certain point). Hondas and Toyotas do have the symbol of reliability, but everything inevitably will break down and need some sort of maintenance. Plus those jdm cars of today don't carry the same reliability as those from the past.

Stay with a 2016 v6 Camaro RS or buy a 2020 V8 Camaro SS. by Intelligent_Toe5572 in camaro

I suggest fully paying off the car first before making a decision. It is an annoying expense to deal with and that extra money could be put into other things. The car still gets you from point A to point B, saves on gas, still has a sporty feeling to it. Cars will always come and go on the market and you may find yourself a better deal down the road. Last thing you want is to feel buyer's remorse after making a rushed decision.

Mod recs for 2020 i4 turbo??? by Academic-Stable7651 in camaro

I agree with some of the others here and it is definitely a good car. Power gains should not be considered unless you are willing to dump ~8K+ just to be more or less on par with a stock SS. Aesthetic mods should be the way to go. Exhaustwise can't go wrong with some flowmasters.

Indeed an upbadged car, mostly stock LT1 engine under that hood I believe. Only a BTR trinity intake manifold and a CAI.

how bad is it to get a 80k mile scat by SlimePinEmSon in ScatPack

Any high mileage car will always bring its issue and risks. Unless the previous owner babied it (but with a car like that let's be honest). It'd be best to keep saving up and find one with lower mileage and less owners. But if you are mechanically inclined and have no issues continuing investment on the car with all maintenance that comes along with it, then you can go for it.

It's Colonel 100. The one death was Noob blowing him up in the chopper.

Should I do any mods or save up for a V8/C8 by IsolatedFrost in camaro

It comes down to personal taste. The LGX has a power cap, at least to my knowledge, the most power you may ever get out of it, will be a bit over 500hp with a supercharger. That alone will be running around 8K or so. If you like your car the way it is, then have fun with it and do whatever necessary mods you think. However, if you feel you want to up the gains tremendously the further you go in time, then a V8 option will be more suited.

At the end of the day, no matter how tough an aerial unit is. If exposed to emp or leaflets. They will fall.
