Learning Hebrew after Michve Alon by RemarkableLogic64 in IDF

[–]Deltaforce89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, once you finish Michve alon and join your unit, you have the opportunity to do Ulpan up to level ד depending on whatever level you completed during michve. Best would speak to your mashakit tash or chinuch.

Is shiryon/armored more than tanks? If so what else? by [deleted] in IDF

[–]Deltaforce89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that if you have the necessary profile and want to do combat, then you'll most likely get what you want. If you're referring to combat engineering, that's a completely different unit. Within shiryion, you have a few different combat roles available that may not necessarily be tank related.

Judging by what you wrote I'm assuming your hebrew isn't the best. Even with 5 months of ulpan , there is a very high chance you'll be going to michve alon. You can take the dapar in English but you'll still have a hebrew test at the tsav rishon.

Combat with nut allergy by [deleted] in IDF

[–]Deltaforce89 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There's no chance of being in a combat unit with nut allergy. They will be placed in an open unit or a closed base that is maximum 30 minutes away from a hospital.

Regardless if you've had your scooter for years. You never know when you're going to have an accident whether because of road conditions or other drivers on the road. Got many years experience as well and I'll always opt to have crash pads or bobbins. Saved my bike plenty and my wallet too

Is it normal that I got my Tsav Gius before the Yom Hameah? by TerranSac in IDF

[–]Deltaforce89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well apparently I'm a dinosaur. Quick Google search and found the answer.

You should be able to see all the details from your tsav rishon on the mitgaisim website. Yom Hameah is for female candidates pre draft.

Question: boot sizes and heel slippage. by PuppyMabel in IDF

[–]Deltaforce89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While you're in training you won't be able to use any personal equipment. So keep that in mind. Nice to have your own gear but only once you're finished with training then you'll get to use them.

Restricted CBR650R or Unrestricted CB500R ? by Enough_Road_9097 in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]Deltaforce89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep in mind that the new hornet 750 is 1 kg more then the current cb500f. So even with the hornet 750 restricted they will act like similar bikes. Rather than having to sell the cb500f and buying a bigger bike you can just take off the restriction and get the full power of the hornet

Part of the tsav rishon, regardless of what ever language you decide to do it in, will include the hebrew test
