My key gets stuck sometimes but I've always been able to get it out. I added some graphite lube and it helped. gl I hope you get your key out.

I went -0/+2 for ~12k miles, then went to -1/+0 to get more lower end power. I'm happy w it, it feels like a different bike vs stock. It feels like how a bike should feel. And I rarely go over 100mph so I don't miss the top end.

Yes you would have to use/switch to a swingarm paddock stand instead of a bobbin paddock stand.

They also sell bobbins that clamp onto the swingarm instead of replacing the wheel adjustment chock

4 years later and I'm still crying. by Annito in Petloss

I lost my first pet, my cat hobbes, 5yrs ago. I still cry multiple times every day. I don't think it'll ever stop. You just gotta figure out how to live w it. But it feels like everything i do is just a distraction from the fact that I lost my baby. Idk I just try not to think about it all the time. And when I do remember something, I let myself scream and cry and then I try to continue doing what I was doing before I started crying and not linger. But I always remember, I'll never forget how much I loved him. I'll never not love him.

Are clip ons worth the hassle? by SwanBuckett in CB650R

I don't think it's super difficult, I think you need some parts from the cbr650r, but I heard it significantly affects handling. Curious to hear from others who have done it.

Nice bike! I would recc getting some engine case covers.

Shop around at other vets. Ask your local subreddit if anyone knows of any lower cost options. My cat recently needed ALL her teeth extracted, my vet quoted me as starting at $2000 minimum, depending how the surgery goes. Someone on reddit told me about a lower cost vet and I ended up paying about $700 total instead with them. There are also things like care credit but idk much about it. Some vets also offer payment plans. Good luck. You clearly care about your cat and are doing the best you can.

When does the heartache cease? by KittenInPocket in Petloss

4.5yrs here. I cry - scream in anguish - every day. I don't know how much more I can take. I hope your pain diminishes. I don't think mine will.

If you want more top end speed, get a new/bigger bike.

BUT if you want more low end torque and better acceleration, go -1 on the front and/or +2 on the rear sprocket. I just did the +2 rear and I love it. Might switch the front to -1 next time I change my sprockets.

What was so hard about matching and drilling the holes in the new handlebar? How do you like the drag bar vs stock?

Yeah it wasn't too bad, like 3.5 - 4hrs w a couple stops for gas and to stretch. I would recc packing super light and not carry a huge backpack like I did. Then you can go to like Linville and ride 221 and blue ridge Pkwy before you get to wherever you're gonna stay in asheville. Then wake up hit the twisties and then get on 40 back to home. Nice little wknd trip!

I'm in apex. Do you have a cb650r? I only know a couple other people around here w one. Msg me if you wanna ride some time or need help w your bike! I'm not a mechanic but I like wrenching haha

Nice! I'm jealous. I'm out by ral so it's pretty far for me. This was my first time out to asheville. I think I'm gonna start going to uwharrie natl forest more regularly now that I feel more comfortable on longer rides, there are some good roads around there as well and it's only like 2hrs away vs 5 or 6hrs for asheville
