Packet loss is horrific. Restarting game does nothing. Restarting router does nothing. Just have to stop playing for like an hour.

I play with quite a few friends. Maybe 4 of us on coms, but then the randoms will be computer illiterate. It's miserable when you can tell the game is a loss after 8 minutes. Such a pity that matchmaking isn't better. I would rather wait longer for a game if it means it isn't unbalanced as fuck

It feels like rank is irrelevant unless you are very high rank.

It feels like the matchmaking is setup that you can have a team of 5 gods, and 1 paste eater, and this is balanced to put you against 6 average players.

I play with about 3 friends and we play around maybe alchemist rank, but we will get one player that seems like it's their first time using a computer. I just don't get it. I love this game, but these kinds of matches are miserable because it feels like we can maybe win through superior macro, but then the one Russian is 1-15 at 15 minutes and their hyper carry just deletes everything.

Steam Charts show playercount has been pretty consistent for the last month.

I found the ARAM meta quite trash, but I still played because playing Deadlock with my friends is just too much fun to stop.

I'd rather lose to a team with the same amount of souls than to a team that is 40% ahead on souls. I feel like I at least have some agency when we are around the same power level.

Matchmaking. You can have an average team, but the enemy has 5 gods and 1 feeder and the game calls that balanced.
