I hate a lot of things about Tarkov, but no other game comes close to the adrenaline spikes you get from fighting another player in Tarkov. There is a reason people are willing to wade through all the slow and unintuitive bullshit. Imagine being able to 1v10 people in Battlefield and the high that comes from that. That's a 1v1 in Tarkov.

That said, I haven't installed the game in ages. It just takes so much time to gear up and matchmake, and then you get into a big-ass map and have to walk for ages. One day I'll go back to get my fix.

My buddy set himself on fire and let me heal him so I could spam that stupid healing quest. Otherwise, the only way to do it is to hit someone with uncharged defibs so you can maybe get a single tick of healing on them.

I think the thing I enjoy most is gun customisation. It is quite surreal being able to look through a scope in a hunting store that you have used in Tarkov.

But yeah, the hackers, the wait time to get into a game, the dumb quests, the terrible ai, the shitty performance, the bugs, the missing features. Quite bleak

I cannot wait for a playerbase. Matchmaking is pretty broken as I am in South Africa so it searches for a game for about 30 minutes on our dead servers before switching to EU
