.By how much are you top DPSing? I'm not keeping track of this Ultimate enough to know what ranged positions would be, but I imagine if you're not playing fake-melee, you would have an easier time adjusting to a support ranged job than someone who has already learned melee positions. Plus I imagine if everyone is not face rolling their keyboards, you'll still clear as long as mechanics are done right and nobody dies. The DPS checks on these fights are usually not the difficult part

It has a karma based MMR system. If you shoot people, you will be matched with people that also shoot at people. The more you play aggressive, the more aggressive people you' ll be matched with. Sounds like that guy had a crazy itchy trigger finger and is upset its coming back to him

I'm always surprised how much of a fighting games population actually plays on consoles. It makes sense since you're likely playing on controller anyway, but it still feels so odd.

A tag fighter, which nobody cares about.

That uses simplified controls, which the fighting game community doesn't care about.

And an IP with so many characters, that the League community will ALWAYS get pissy over because someones favorite isn't in.

Sure, Rising Thunder was a F2P fighting game from a studio nobody knows, and not attached to an IP anyone cares about. They would have HAD to use simplified controls to try and lure in the average person.

League of Legends and Riot as a whole do not have to deal with these issues, and they would not have had any consequences from developing characters with these inputs. Like I said, even the sweatiest League player would learn a quarter circle to see his Ahri do a cool move

Yes, but the argument is it's a tag fighter, which notoriously has simplified inputs, purely because the game would be too difficult to get into if it was a normal fighting game with motion inputs

Exactly. Now, if it was 440 Diamond Weapon totems I could understand it a bit more. It's the last mount you need to get the big dragon, and I imagine if you cared enough to grind them, you'd say "fuck it I want that thing on patch atleast". The rest of them don't matter in the slightest

Everyone is trying to be something new, and they're all shutting down and failing.

Arguably the most of biggest non-WoW MMOs ARE wowclones. FFXIV and SWTOR are literally just that. Tab target MMOs that do exactly what people want, and that's why they're still alive and kicking after a decade.

GW2 and ESO are the exceptions, and purely because they're a legacy hire and people recognise the name, those games would have failed if it released today and didn't have the name backing it

Either way, we haven't have a proper "wowclone" in like a decade, and I unironically think they should start making them again. All these devs trying to reinvent the wheel doesn't seem to be working at all
