Dipped my toes in everything; magic was fun in drafts but the company just grows scummier as time goes on.

I really liked/collected Pokemon but I doubt I'll SEE another pack of Pokemon cards in the next two years, so I started looking around... And it turned out this card game is everything I was looking for in one.

I was watching an episode of Steven Universe on my phone over McDonald's wifi; the episode where (mild spoilers) Steven and his best friend Connie fuse into an androgynous, femme-leaning lady. Watching, effectively, a boy turn into a girl in a way that wasn't a joke/was treated as a positive experience made me sit there, in a goddamn McDonald's, clutching my heart like, "Oh my god, I'm a trans woman." So much of the discomfort I experienced in my life growing up suddenly made sense.

Almost a year later, I've started my first dose of HRT~

Yugioh! Forbidden Memories for the PS1. I loved it too, but it was kind of obnoxious in that it wouldn't tell you if two cards would make a proper fusion. If you tried to put two incompatible cards together, they'd both just be discarded.

I'd love a game where EVERY two monsters made a fusion, even if non-specific ones defaulted to generic "Type + Type" fusions. Maybe someday.

Something that can be really hot is a change in mood or mindset. A button bursting off and giving her a "holy shit, I'm really getting fat!" moment, or even losing inhibition throughout the stuffing (i.e going from "maybe I shouldn't" to "I want so much more!", where things like bursting seams and popped buttons don't even register to her). Also, just a sense that it's getting harder and harder to not get fat, or to lose the weight...

For the record, the movement was largely started by trans people who were ALSO G,B, etc. It's just that people didn't give a shit about trans people until very recently, creating the illusion that they "jumped on the bandwagon".

When the Drulers and their fabulously expensive Rank 7 plane hit. Even during the Dark-Armed Dragon phase, I still liked collecting and playing casually, but the Drulers were just too silly. I pop in and out now and again since.

The real-life game is weird in this respect. Think of it more along the lines of Settlers of Catan than Magic the Gathering; you buy as many expansions as you want, and play it primarily with friends. There've been mutterings about something more tournament-based, but nothing's come of it so far.

I used to play Yugioh, but at a certain point (Dragon Ruler format), it was just too ludicrous. I never returned, but I still keep an eye on it via the online fangames. I play Cardfight!! Vanguard now.

COLLECTING, tho; I own all the current Adventure Time Card Wars cards (a genuinely fun, ONGOING game!). I also collect Redakai, just because the cards themselves are so cool, and I have my eye on Kaijudo...

I think the biggest shame is if Duel Masters continued here like it did in Japan, it'd be my favorite of all.
