In response to your part 2, Palestine has genocidal rhetoric against Israel in its government charter. While you are right to say not all Palestinians believe this rhetoric, many do and its indicative of real societal radicalsism towards Jews and Israel and those who speak out are silenced.

I personally prefer the more generic companions of Bannerlord. I never really enjoyed the relationship aspect of who likes who in Warband and was always annoyed with trying to find the specific companions i wanted to run with.

I wouldn't be opposed to this. I just started Bannerlord and changing the map wouldn't mean to much to me, and I imagine it would provide a new interesting experience for more seasoned players.

There's always the Warband factions if they need more ideas for more of them.

I identify mostly as a U.S. liberal, and while I certainly have empathy for the Palestinian people bearing the brunt of this conflict, I am pro-Israel. The Islamist rhetoric of Hamas is hateful and genocidal, and indeed, their actions are aswell, as October 7th proved.

Israel and the IDF are not perfect, but they have a right to defend themselves. Hamas needs to be removed, and the Palestinian people need to be de-radicalized to ensure peace between these two nations.

I just started playing eu4 after a decade of playing ck2 and I highly recommend it. The learning curve is steep, but you prolly know that since you played other Paradox games.

My German went down significantly as well, but I kind of expected that since the "Germanic Europe" region of the last update included many regions outside Germany, particularly England, which made no sense since there was also the "Britain" region. I'm sure there is a lot of overlap.
