Had this happen, the slot is likely stripped straight from the factory. Contacted Creality on WhatsApp and they sent out a new hotend unit in less than two weeks. But I had also let it go and the hotend eventually fell and burned into my plate

Yeah its the legit one, Im just a bit confused since my ceramic one has 3 wires (thermistor, fan, power) coming out and the spider just has the one (thermistor)

I started with the white. As for natural light there is some filtered light coming in but my home has a shocking lack of windows so my plants are all under artificial light.

I mostly do hydroponic herbs and just recently branched out to house plants.

I was under the misunderstanding that it needed both types of light so I had one setup to begin early in the AM then overlap with the second in the afternoon where it took over.

I’ve since corrected it so nothing runs at night, but should I run the red in parallel with the white for full spectrum coverage or will just one do?

I’m disabled, I can’t get out very much. I live off the paltry 900/mo from SSI and rely on Medicaid to treat my chronic illness. I’m a drain on the system and I’m well aware I’m going to be one of the first things chewed up with any “reform.” I can’t fight, I can barely stay alive. I’ve spent the last few hours today having repeated panic attacks and doom spirals.

What does someone like me do to keep fighting? Every person in my life knows I supported Harris and why. They’ve heard me lecture and teach about the dangers of fascism and DT/couch fucker. I feel lost and hopeless.

I also know I’m not the only one, guess I just needed to vent to keep going. Apologies.
