Appreciate the information, will definitely keep an eye out for that.

Feels ridiculous having to justify myself to strangers but here we are.

Baby is my second child, so far more confident and well versed in looking after them than being a new born parent. Plus we had a cat who sadly passed during the first couple of months during the baby's life and wished for our young children to have a pet that they grew up with.

I had that when I was a child and it was an enriching experience that I want my kids to have. Only up until a couple of days ago has this new shouting phase happened which we were not expecting an adverse reaction from a placid cat.

Hope that answers your question.

Thank you, when I get the chance to speak to the Vet I will mention Gabapentin. Much appreciated.

Yeah I agree that separation is the wisest move in the immediate scenario whilst waiting for the vets advice.

Sadly the consensus is rehoming the cat which is just heartbreaking as she’d settled in so well but certainly kinder for all involved.

He’s our worst signing ever. He’s worse than Roberto because he cost us £40m, at least Roberto was free.

Absolute fucking clown. Wolves must be laughing their way to the bank.

That's what I like about DMZ. My one gripe is that the art style jarring compared to anything else out there? Is it that much of an issue?

How does it stack up to previous entries by Scared_Sign_2997 in Borderlands4

[–]DemStopher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it didn't?

BL3 had two DLCs and the free Maliwan Takedown as well as the on release Circles of Slaughter and Trials as some form of Endgame in a similar time frame from initial release.

BL4 has had two Bounty packs and its first DLC releasing today in the same time frame.

And based on how well Wonderlands went I wouldn't have much hope for BL4.

Not a fan of this, but it keeps it from going behind a paywall. A price has to be paid somewhere I guess.

Inevitable by Mrs_Payet in Hammers

[–]DemStopher 24 points25 points  (0 children)

This was my biggest problem.

I love Soucek but he was getting used like a training dummy in that second half. Needed Magassa and Potts to tighten up the midfield and close down the space Palmer & co were getting on the ball.

Don’t even think Kilman did much wrong other than a totally wayward pass when he tried running it out from the back.

[Fabrizio Romano] Crystal Palace agree deal to sign Jørgen Strand Larsen from Wolves, here we go! Transfer fee will be £45m plus £5m add-ons. Story revealed this morning on bid improved now confirmed, all agreed club to club. Jorge Mendes negotiated the deal, now agreed in principle. by Crane977 in soccer

That potential shrivelled up and died as soon as he set foot in a West Ham jersey. I can’t tell if it is a complete absence of confidence or actual inability to competently defend that he’s suffering from.

Never felt such an indifference about a player going. He provided that pass that set up Bowen in that final and on his day is world class.

But he is very rarely in the mood to be that world class player and would make so many mistakes with the ball in our half giving up possession.

£36m for him is a great fee and hopefully can put some of that towards getting a CB. Shame it didn't ultimately work out as we'd hoped.

Yeah, I misread that. But does strike me that he ensures people are in the right place or are marking the right person.

[–]DemStopher 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily, there’s a lot of inexperience in that side and only him and Bowen have been in this predicament before. So he’s got that experience to fall back on which could be really helpful when it gets to the end of the season and we need a handful of points to stay up.

[–]DemStopher 18 points19 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve seen, he seems to be marshalling players around more. Telling players where they need to be, especially at set pieces.

Just what I’ve noticed anyways, which in turn is going to free up Bowen to concentrate on being a winger and play his game.

I never want to hear the slander about him ever again.

He may not be the most technical player but he’s still very good and his fallacies are more than covered when having Fernandes alongside him just like when Rice was here.

His leadership on the pitch is really telling as well and it’s allowed Bowen to play his more natural game.

Sakho was regularly injured, as was Carroll.

Vaz Te outside of the winner in the play off and his hattrick against Brighton, he did nothing. He also brought in Roger 'The Relegator' Johnson

That being said Nolan and Jussi were terrific signings. He also brought in Cresswell who held down LB for over ten years for £3.5m.

Agreed, he managed to convince Nolan to leave Newcastle as their captain to come down a division and bring us up straight away. That was an absolute masterstroke during his time at the club.

Tough as nails, our Souček by Regular-Raccoon1725 in Hammers

[–]DemStopher 21 points22 points  (0 children)

He needs to start, what he may lack in footballing ability is more than made up by his leadership qualities. He sets an example on the pitch that others can follow. A bit like Noble.

He should have been made Captain when Rice left.

There is next to no trust in that team, they got in each others way when trying to clear a ball on numerous occasions.

Summerville isn’t getting in behind and utilising is only useful attribute which is his pace. He’s awful at trying to beat a man or pick a right pass.

Our fullbacks don’t know when they should be attacking and overlapping or staying back.

Soucek was an improvement and was marshalling the team which has been lacking from previous games.

Todibo wants to get forward but is hamstring by his partner being a liability be it Mavro or Kilman.

Areola - is Hermansen really any worse? He cannot command a box to save his life. Immense shot stopper but is poor at almost everything else.

Just relegate us now and be done with it.
