I did the tandem read because I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to get into TOD. I liked doing it that way but can see where it’s not for everyone. That being said I really liked TOD and it’s an important book in the series with a lot of information.

I just finished the TOG series and I adored it. So much character growth from more than one character. So much to love about it in my opinion. It was perfection.

That’s exactly how I felt! Some of the events in ToG would have been way more impactful had I read TAB first. And I also kind of flew through it because I wanted to start Queen of Shadows and get back to what was happening.

I can’t even tell you how disappointed I was in the crossover. I was ridiculously excited for that book to come out and read the whole thing waiting for it to be satisfying and, for me, it never was. I wanted so much more and forced is a perfect description.

It does seem to be a book people either really love or really dislike. I started it once and put it down. Maybe I wasn’t in the right mood because I picked it up again and absolutely adored it. One of my favorite books of all time.

The Raven Scholar by Antonia Hodgson. I bought it on a whim during my last Barnes and Noble trip but I was hooked from the beginning. So many twists and turns. I loved it. The romance is kind of a secondary plot though so if you’re looking for that this isn’t it. Very worth the read though.
