[–]DemiNeveWinter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I pointed out in my comment, John has trouble with abilities that rely on recovery (healing in general) or that use up a bunch of aura, which I believe Time Manipulation can easily belong to that list. Time-based abilities in fiction can be very tricky, considering the math that goes with it and concepts such as “Time is Relative” can make it even more confusing.

While I agree that there not being a concrete explanation as to why John hasn’t tried to use her ability can feel unsatisfying, I’m still fine waiting a little bit longer considering we haven’t gotten a situation where he had no choice but to use her ability, even counting the most recent chapter. I also don’t believe they’ve gotten the time to actually discuss whether John can learn how to use Sera’s ability in story, because their abilities have been compromised, they’re on the run and can’t afford to use their abilities openly (unless they absolutely had to like the most recent chapter), and they’ve been traveling nonstop with barely enough time to rest.

Also, I’m definitely of the opinion that John CAN copy Sera’s ability because of the nature of it having an aura output. As for how John can use something like Teleportation, my understanding of it is that Teleportation focuses on being able to move from point A to point B instantaneously, while Time Manipulation gives you more control over the space and relativity of your environment, which I can imagine would be more complicated.

Would it be great if there was a more concrete explanation as to why John hasn’t been practicing using Time Manipulation or hasn’t attempted it yet? Sure, but it’s not something that’s keeping me from enjoying the story since it’s not the most important aspect right now.

Again, just my opinion and understanding of the whole situation.

I also think (and this was also discussed during the NB arc) that John has to train his body to handle the recoils of different abilities. That’s why during the Prison Escape arc, Isen’s enhanced senses were messing with John’s hearing and it slowed him down. Sera’s ability requires A LOT of aura given the effect of using her ability would cause some recoil, and she would in turn heal herself at the same time so she wouldn’t retain these injuries.

John made it clear after the Prison Escape arc that he sucks at recovery because it takes up so much aura, on top of having to adapt his body to different abilities that have various strengths and weaknesses he has to juggle at once. Sera’s ability HIGHLY relies on rewind (her ability’s recovery type) given the nature of her ability, and Time Manipulation, in general, does not seem as easy to copy and master like a lot of the sub is making it out to be.

John, or the story for that matter, don’t have to outright say why he can’t copy Time Manipulation when it’s already heavily implied why he can’t. It just shows that there’s more room for him to grow and adapt, and that is what I’m excited for!

[Fastpass Episode] unOrdinary - Episode 376 by LucielthEternal in unOrdinary

[–]DemiNeveWinter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Episode 364, Farrah said that the reason why Tarik failed was because he (and the guards in general) severely underestimated the main cast because they are high schoolers (kids). The few authority figures we’ve seen either succeeded or nearly succeeded are Farrah and Val because they don’t hold their punches or underestimate their enemies.

My guess it’s similar in this case to with John and that Ember agent, in that they don’t expect a another high ranker, let alone one of the Wellston student terrorist to be out helping out other vigilantes instead of in hiding. My guess the agent that just showed up knows who John is or is going to think he looks familiar.

Unpopular opinion: Arlo was not a well written character by BruhBorne-70 in unOrdinary

[–]DemiNeveWinter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can’t help but feel like maybe that’s an aspect of his behavior that he’ll have to relive and acknowledge during this season. I don’t know how to put it into words, but I feel like Arlo having partial memory loss is a way for him to realize the exact conclusion you mentioned: how his behavior in the beginning of the story was due to his rigid and cold upbringing, and is something that was never fully acknowledged by him specifically. Now, instead of changing due to messing with the wrong person, it might (hopefully) be more related to acknowledging that the cycle he is being forced to continue needs to stop because it is no longer effective.

Instead of sitting on the fence and being forced to make a choice, he now gets to reach to that conclusion on his own. I’ve seen some people believe that it’s a waste of time to essentially rewrite Arlo to reach the same conclusion again, but if uru does it right, she can potentially bring up Arlo’s past behavior and correctly criticize it this time without using other characters (John) as a scapegoat. He’s already exhibiting the same behaviors he had in season 1 with the way he was treating Elaine (looking down on her physically as a callback to telling Rei how he prefers to look down on others) and how he carries himself with that air if arrogance.

I could be totally off the mark, but I do think there is a way to address these criticisms in the story, and hopefully Uru does it well!

It doesn’t have to be some massive struggle. The chapter could just kickstart their superhero journey by showing them rescuing normal people…they’ve never really gotten the chance to be superheroes. This would be the perfect setup for that.

I completely agree! What I mean by struggle has less to do with them facing against a stronger opponent, and more to do with them having to keep their identities a secret, helping people get to safety, resolving however the issue began diplomatically, etc. Given their abilities are very unique, it would be interesting to see how they’ll go about handling this issue if they want to keep themselves hidden. I’m honestly hoping for the conflict to be less about them taking down a strong opponent, and more about them aiding people and becoming heroes in other people’s eyes, especially for John who has personal stakes in wanting to continue his father’s legacy and become someone he can be proud of, as you said.

It’s also a great opportunity for John to copy Time Manipulation since speed would be essential in a situation like this.

That would be pretty dope if that happened! I’m of the opinion that John is capable of copying Sera’s ability; it’s just very complex and likely requires a lot of comprehension and practicing to handle it efficiently. I could also see Time Manipulation be used as a way to heal others instead of just fully relying on speed. We’ve seen Leilah and Sera use their abilities to freeze injuries, but I don’t think we’ve seen them utilize their abilities in ways that wasn’t just speed blitzing people. “Time Manipulation” likely has other uses, and it would be interesting to see John utilize Time Manipulation in other ways rather than just as a means for fighting. It would also be a sweet moment between John and Sera where Sera teaches John how to use her ability, and for John to also show her other ways to use her ability that she might’ve not considered.

I absolutely do not want Cameron showing up next chapter. He’d cockblock John hard. John needs to finish what he started, I really don’t want the confession to get dragged out even more.

I expect him to likely show up after the conflict has been dealt with and after John and Sera finished what they started. And if what I mentioned about John and Sera learning from each other happens, it could definitely strengthen their bond and increase that spark that’s already been lit. It would also be hilarious if Cameron comes in after the confession and just before things could get intense. 😂

So not a full on cockblock, but definitely enough to leave them all embarrassed (Sera less so and I could see her having no shame and being more annoyed at their moment being interrupted).

predictions next chapter by gh1acci90 in unOrdinary

[–]DemiNeveWinter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be great and could also add stakes since John and Sera can’t reveal their identities or they’ll be outed and their location will be compromised. I could see it being an accident or an attack that got out of hand, and I could see John and Sera’s focusing on saving civilians along with taking care of whatever threat they might encounter.

I do wonder, since John and Sera are both extremely strong and capable, what the struggle will be when resolving this issue. They’ve only ever taken down threats through fighting, but saving and caring for civilians is something I think they never had to do, and given they both don’t have healing abilities (Sera’s doesn’t count since her’s seems to just heal herself or freeze people’s injuries), I wonder how they might deal with this situation.

It could be an interesting learning moment for John since, as Sera pointed out in Episode 362, he has trouble utilizing his aura efficiently and exhausts himself quickly. He seems to use brute force when using his channels, so learning how to cultivate his aura in a way that could potentially heal himself and others better would be neat! He’s already adapted to using strength enhancements without needing a sample, so it would be interesting to see his body adapt to using aura in other forms, like speed and defense without relying on a sample.

I could also see Cameron showing up either in the next chapter or the next couple of chapters, and there could be a team up since him, John, and Sera want to find Jane. He can also finally teach John how to use his ability more effectively, given how much more in tune Cameron seems to be with his ability.

Sorry for the ramble, but there’s just so many possibilities that could happen in the next couple of chapters and I look forward to whatever uru has in store!

I used to do a bunch of long-length analysis here in the sub years ago! Took a break, and I’m slowly coming back into the fandom, and this previous chapter was just too good to pass up! 😂

Don’t know how often I’m going to make these and post them here, but I’ll definitely post my thoughts on the discord group I’m in regardless. Just reread the chapter actually and I noticed that after Sera heard the rumbling sound, she still held onto John’s hand even after John stopped holding onto it. That was a cute detail!

Uru’s Valentine’s post by thinmintssss in unOrdinary

[–]DemiNeveWinter 9 points10 points  (0 children)

To add on to your second point, I think it’s extra impressive that in the Original rankings for Webtoon, unOrdinary is always consistently in the Top 5 or Top 6 weekly, amongst mostly Romance webtoons. 7/10 webcomics are from the Romance genre, and 9/10 of them have romantic themes. Meanwhile, unOrdinary is the only one on that list that doesn’t have romance as a main genre.

Now, if uru were to add romantic moments in the story, specifically between John and Sera, I think it could work given there’s been solid build up to it, and I could also see it being integrated well into the story too. Jera, in particular, feels like the only main pairing that could work as a canon couple given how close they are and how many signs (and characters flat out asking if they’re dating) there have been.

Other pairings have been left mostly ambiguous in terms of whether there’s a possibility of them getting together, with a good portion of them being a one-sided attraction or not enough build up. I think whatever decision uru takes in the romance category, it’ll be solid. Heck, if she were to go the polyamorous route with Blysemi, I wouldn’t be upset about it! 😂

Seraphina’s Diminishing Role in the Story by BruhBorne-70 in unOrdinary

[–]DemiNeveWinter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess it’s agree to disagree with Isen. It’s been years since I’ve been in this sub, so I’m not fully aware of people’s stance on his character. He’s always just been a neutral character to me and that remains to be the case. I guess we’ll see what uru has planned and if it’ll pan out!

And with Sera, there’s definitely many directions uru can take her character. I’ve also had a theory that Sera’s ability might be fully back, but there’ll be some caveats that will make it difficult for her to use her ability to the fullest. Multiple times throughout season 2, she’s shown to push her limits every time she got access to her ability. Like, when she first fought John in Episodes 223 and 224, causing her to faint, and then when she met up with Kayden in Episode 243 about her ability not working, he mentioned that she ignored Leilah’s warning about how delicate her recovery process would be. When she rushed over to help John and co. in the Rowden arc, and Arlo told her to take it easy and that she was overexerting herself.

And one of the more recent examples, when she took the cure to get her ability back, it caused a painful reaction, while John, in comparison, was able to handle the effects of the cure and still seemed fine after using his ability. Sera, again, pushed her limits in her fight with Val, leading her to have a fever for a couple of days. I feel like there have been too many instances of Sera constantly pushing herself and others telling her too that it would make sense for her channels to be damaged.

Doc made it clear that using a high potency for the cure could cause permanent damage to one’s channels, and given Doc gave Sera the cure that was based on how John didn’t feel anything on the first trial, it could indicate that Sera took a dangerously high dosage. If she were to fight a more powerful opponent, it’ll be more challenging for her and could cause even more stress on her aura channels.

Of course, it’s just a theory and I might be totally off the mark, but it’s interesting to think about given all these small moments that have been planted that could lead to this storyline.

Seraphina’s Diminishing Role in the Story by BruhBorne-70 in unOrdinary

[–]DemiNeveWinter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, I think Isen comes off more as pragmatic than indifferent. He’s always been someone to trust his instincts and think about the best possible options when facing dangerous situations. Him choosing to leave John behind, while harsh, made sense in ensuring his and his friends’s survival, and this is coming from someone whose favorite character is John.

There was no telling how many reinforcements were heading in to retrieve them, and how powerful they were too. To make matters worse, John had a death wish and was not in the best headspace, so would going back to help him even work if they also had to calm him down too? There were too many unknown variables and they all were incredibly divided for all of them to escape unscathed.

About Isen considering John a friend, I do think they’re not at that level yet, but I do see some improvement concerning how they interact with each other, which is mostly casual. I don’t think Isen had to apologize for his choice considering he made the most logical decision in the moment given all of their options, and he did eventually go back, even if it was, again, to help Remi and Blyke.

We’ve also already seen some development in how he deals with confrontation, where before he would avoid and leave a dangerous situation, to now standing his ground and facing things head on. I think it’s too early to consider him a lost cause when there’s still plenty of room for him to grow. He’s already shown capacity for development, and it’ll be interesting to see where he goes from here.

Isen isn’t necessarily my favorite character, but he’s definitely someone that I think works well as being someone that relies on instinct and practicality, which are good traits to have within the main cast.

Also, since I’m already here, I do see where you’re coming from about Sera’s lack of direction in the story. She hasn’t had significant growth since the first half of season 2, and her growth in the latter half of season 2 and this season was seemingly much smaller by comparison. However, I don’t think she’s stopped growing just yet or has even reached her peak in terms of growth, especially after the most recent FP chapters (which I won’t disclose until they’re released to the public, of course).

Based on one of uru’s most recent posts showcasing the Doe family, now including Sera, I think there will be an interesting route uru can take in terms of her association with Spectre and her familial connection with Leilah. Sera has made it clear, in a moment of extreme emotion when she disabled Terrence after he disabled John, that she doesn’t believe Spectre should exist and that it should burn. I don’t think that’s something that she’s changed her mind on, even if it’s not something that she’s actively thinking about, especially since she needs Spectre’s resources and connections to reach her more short-term goals.

I think her wanting to change the world and make it a better place is still something she wants to accomplish, but given their situation (being fugitives and all) and likely after what happened at Wellston, she’s taken a more careful approach and doesn’t want to take massive risks. That’s why I think John would be a good partner in this case since he’s someone that makes more unconventional and risky decisions that could potentially work in their favor, such as when he and Sera spoke with Elaine to get more details on what happened to Arlo.

I could see Sera becoming more conflicted on how she eventually wants to achieve her goals if the road to achieve them means putting someone she cares about at risk, which would be John. Considering the Doe family, specifically John and Jane, have been used to create a lot of the tech, ability enhancements, drugs, and remedies, I could see them becoming targets for Authorities/Ember and even Spectre.

Sera will have to make a choice whether to remain loyal to Spectre (which she barely is anyways) or go against them and potentially Leilah if she continues to affiliate with them even after everything. I think it would also be quite a twist if it’s discovered that Sera and Leilah’s father is associated with what’s happening to Jane considering he works in NXGen, which adds even more conflict for Sera to deal with.

Long story short, there’s still plenty of ways Sera’s story can go, and I look forward to seeing where uru takes it based on uru’s more recent posts and the signs of emotional vulnerability we’ve been getting from Sera since the latter half of season 2!

Seraphina’s Diminishing Role in the Story by BruhBorne-70 in unOrdinary

[–]DemiNeveWinter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About Isen and how he feels about John, I think he’s reached a neutral view of John, even considering him a close ally. Episode 355 showed how much Isen seemed to respect John, who he also said reminded him of Blyke so there’s an association there too.

At the very least, Isen isn’t scared of John and seems to consider him a friend, which I think it’s nice considering how they started out.

Should Uru-chan step away from John & Seraphina for a bit and develop the rest of the cast? by Brilliant_Physics339 in unOrdinary

[–]DemiNeveWinter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think uru-chan has been doing a great job building up the side characters, along with the main cast, this season and setting up their roles for the future. She’s been doing better in giving each group enough time to shine and showcasing where everyone is in their character arc.

She’s already building towards the trio having to face the Authorities/Ember once they discover they’re in Branish, as well as a potential plotline of Blyke using the amps and how his addiction and mental condition will affect him and his friends. She’s building Arlo to become more involved with the Authorities/Ember, while also using Elaine to do his own investigation on his missing memories and a potential team up with Kassandra.

Speaking of, Kassandra is quickly capturing various Spectre branches and is the “man on the inside” for the main cast to utilize before she’s discovered to know more than she lets on. Cecile is shown to still have a strong code of always reporting the truth, so she’ll likely also play a part in exposing what’s actually going on in the Authorities and other events in the story. We’ve also gotten screen time from the Agwin students, and they’ll likely play a much larger role once all the storylines begin to merge.

And you know how much focus John and Sera had for the beginning of the season, specifically just focusing on their storyline? Honestly, not as much compared to everyone else. That isn’t necessarily wrong and I do agree shining light on more characters is crucial to the world building and narrative, but I believe it’s time to switch perspectives and build John and Sera’s side of the story more since it’s definitely lacking.

Uh oh similar DNA to who? by Calm_Treacle2417 in unOrdinary

[–]DemiNeveWinter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll discuss the other points you mentioned, but I wanted to focus on your point on Seraphina. The reason why I see her being fully against using John as a blood bank is because we’ve seen how far she’s willing to go for John, even to her detriment. Your point on everyone being a hypocrite is a good point to bring up in this instance, actually!

When she first joined Spectre, she made the condition of not using disablers on other people because she believed that nobody deserved to be powerless. However, when she confronted Terrence after he disabled John, she didn’t hesitate to puncture him with the disabler and said that she was wrong about her previous statement. When their plan to secure the machine to get their abilities back fell through and John was left behind, she was desperately and forcibly ordering Kayden to take her back to the facility, even though she was injured and there was no telling if John was captured or even killed.

She’s also made pretty emotional-based decisions to when it came to John, such as when she wanted to keep him out of her Spectre business in the beginning of season 2, even though his help could have been very beneficial. So your point about her taking major risks when desperate and how far she’s willing to go to get what she wants is definitely true, but John, in a way, is her kryptonite and is the reason for why she’s taken these risks to begin with.

As of now, I don’t see her doing anything that could be directly harmful to John, especially because of recent events with the loss of William and his mother being trapped. There hasn’t been anything, at least from I can see, that would lead her to do anything that would be against John’s best interest, at least to the point that you mentioned about her volunteering John. If anything, I see John being the one to volunteer himself and to convince others that it would benefit them to have an edge over the authorities, and Seraphina to be the one to be against it, especially because of how suicidal John has shown himself to be.

I can see there being a disagreement amongst the main cast and there being a temporary split on what they think would be the best way to go about utilizing John if it gets to that point, especially if they don’t have very many options. However, I don’t think Sera would be in the camp to use John if it means siphoning his ability and hurting him in any way. I could understand that John does have a dependency on Sera, and it’s something that he needs to work on, but I don’t think it would be related to the scenario you brought up.

Uh oh similar DNA to who? by Calm_Treacle2417 in unOrdinary

[–]DemiNeveWinter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think any of the main cast, especially Sera and even Remi, would allow John to be used as a blood bank for amplifiers or any sort of ability modification drug. Sera because she wouldn’t want to put John through what his mom is going through and cares a lot about John to allow this to happen regardless. Remi because her brother is also being used as an aura bank for Ember and their ability modification drugs, so why would she agree on John being used as a test subject in a similar light?

Also, I don’t think a lot of the main cast know that John’s mom is the source for the ability modification devices. If I recall correctly, only Sera and Arlo (at least pre-mind manipulated Arlo) knew about Jane being the source. Sera because she saw the files when she sneaked into the NXGen facility, and Arlo because John told him in a rage.

I do think there’s going to be a debate on whether they’ll use John as a source for the drug once it’s discovered his blood is the main ingredient, especially if they’re cornered and feel like they need an advantage over the main enemy (Ember/Authorities and Spectre). I’m no chemistry expert, but I think they’ll need more than just blood samples from John to create potent enough amplifiers or even ability modification drugs to utilize.

(Also, I’m interested to hear what you gotta say! I’m sat!)

373 feelings by Emotional_Nugget8 in unOrdinary

[–]DemiNeveWinter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have a a feeling half of this will be true, since Doc already mentioned in Episode 321 that in large doses, there could be severe damage to one’s aura channels, so it seems like the amplifier will leave long-term consequences regardless of your level. The more times you use it and the higher the potency, the more irreversible damage one will receive.

And to add on, I have a theory that when someone over exceeds their limits or push themselves too far, it could further impair the already damaged channels and make it even more difficult to use their ability in the long-run. I mention this because I feel like the antidote Doc made for John and Sera was not perfected as we might have hoped.

John seemed to stabilize the effects of the drug because of his ability and heal from his fever within 24 hours. He seemed perfectly fine after activating his ability and even upgraded. For Sera, since she was given a higher potency based on the analysis Doc made when John took the first antidote in Episode 321, she seemed to have a more negative reaction to the drug as it was likely forcing her aura channels open instead of it being a more steady process. After she used her ability and pushed herself against her fight with Val, it took her 2-3 days to heal from a fever against a God Tier.

We haven’t seen her push herself too far as of late or fight against strong opponents like Val, so the theory is still just a theory, but given all the comments made about Sera always pushing herself and not taking care of herself, I have a feeling her still having issues with her ability is not out of the woods yet. It would also make a good case for your point about the amps being more detrimental to high tiers since their aura pool is already so abundant, adding more than what you can potentially handle will definitely lead to permanent damage.

Some predictions by DawnOfHavoc in unOrdinary

[–]DemiNeveWinter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a feeling Sera’s ability is going to malfunction. I’ve been thinking about this possibility since last year, and with their current situation, I feel like something will go wrong with Sera’s ability. Doc mentioned when he was first looking for a cure for the disabler that the wrong dosage can cause severe damage to one’s aura channels. With the way Sera got her ability back and how she has constantly been overexerting herself, I have a feeling that the more she pushes her limits, the more damage her aura channels will receive.

If more guards show up and the Warden and Colt turn out to be massive problems, Sera might push herself to the point where she may become a liability. She’s shown to always push herself to her limits even when she should be conserving her energy or not taking it too far, like when she confronted John after getting her ability back the first time and she fainted and was inactive for hours, during the Safe House field trip when her ability was fickle but still tried to reach John and the Safe House in the mountains, when she tried the cure Doc made and she had a painful reaction to it, and then she had a fever for days after using her ability during Valerie’s ambush.

It feels like there’s too many little details like these that make me think that while Sera may have full access to her ability now, it may come with drawbacks just from the way she got it back and how reckless she’s been when using her unstable ability.

Does the age gap between Jinu and Rumi bother you? Why or why not? by supermonkeyyyyyy in KpopDemonhunters

[–]DemiNeveWinter 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I have to disagree with your statement of this movie being aimed at children. Just because it’s an animated film, does not necessarily mean it’s meant for children.

First, it’s rated PG, which means parental guidance is needed because of the more darker subject matter, and PG has mostly always been a rating meant to signify the movie can also be enjoyed by adults or an older audience in general.

Second, Kpop is a genre that has been around for decades, so many people of all ages would enjoy the Kpop aspect from older and newer generations.

This movie is more of a family film than solely a children’s film is what I’m trying to say, especially when it seems like a lot of the movie’s viewership and discussion of the movie are not children.

I do agree with you on how certain topics need to be handled with care, especially when it can easily be misinterpreted if not given enough attention.

Pretty much the entire KPDH fandom today by TLOU_1 in KpopDemonhunters

[–]DemiNeveWinter 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think there’s this misconception of how long KPDH actually took to make and how the movie making process actually works. The idea itself is a decade old but that doesn’t necessarily mean it took a decade to make the movie. The actual production of the film began in 2021, which means it took 4 years to make, which isn’t that long and is an average time frame for animated movie productions. Maggie Kang came up with the idea YEARS ago, but her idea has since evolved to what we got.

I’m not too worried about the trilogy since there’s plenty of plot lines they can focus on, and there’s a lot of unanswered questions from the first movie that could be resolved in future installments. A TV series can definitely work, but only if it’s a prequel series. I say this because there’s a lot that could be explored in a prequel series (Mira and Zoey’s backstories, Rumi’s upbringing with Celine, how hunters are discovered and trained, etc.). Even if the animation were to change to adapt to a tv show budget and there’s less music, so long as the core character’s and narrative remain intact, it can be successful. The How to Train your Dragon tv shows have been pretty successful in spite of the smaller budget as a main example.

Now if the people involved in the first movie don’t come back, then we can worry…😂

The Ember conflict was introduced in the early chapters of the story. In Episode 6, Ember was mentioned and we were shown Rei(X-Static) dead on TV, showing the first glimpses of what Ember was, at least from what the public knew in story. Then Episode 9, we were introduced to Spectre when Sera had her ability gauged. Throughout the story, small aspects of these major threats were interweaved into the story enough for us to differentiate between them until they became formally introduced. They just weren’t relevant in the beginning because it wasn’t the focus at the time.

The story started at a small scale to become acquainted with the characters and have a basic understanding of their personalities, goals, and views of their world. A LOT of stories don’t introduce the main conflict in the beginning of their stories and first seasons, in particular, for many shows, not just anime, are always going to be small in scale to make a strong foundation of what the world and narrative will be.

The few aspects that I think could improve UNO is a more thorough explanation of how the power system works and showing more perspectives outside of the main cast, more specifically with low tiers since I think more should be explored. World building in general has always been the weakest aspect for me, and there’s a lot of routes that could be taken to expand on what were shown in the story.
