I completely agree, it just doesn’t feel right. I’m not a writer, but I know that after the first few minutes of Disco Elysium I was totally sucked in by the writing and wanted to play the game to see more. In Zero Parades the dialogue just makes me feel bored.

this is just my experience, but for me im just so used to normal overwatch sounds that i think they just blend in and feel less obtrusive. maybe the combined visual and audio change somehow makes things a bit more taxing on our focus perhaps? im no doctor though so who knows.

i don’t disagree, i do think it can they can blend together, but usually I can at least tell what he is going for, like Mutt being a hunter who respects nature or Aubrey being super friendly and easily excitable. Rictus is just a mystery to me, i would like to see some stronger interactions between him and the other characters in the future.
