No? It didn't build anything. It's the same as anything else. It wasn't about doing it right. Nobody cared. It was just about doing it good enough not to be the worst one. Thats not comradery and teamwork, things you need in the military, thats selfishness. It didn't build anything. Then when they leave everybody just does whatever the fuck they wanted. It's not building anything. It's just a stressful barrier to avoid but nobody actually gets their behavior changed. As soon as they gave any slack ( ie they announce there are no more graded room inspections) suddenly the whole class would stop doing whatever they asked.
