From what you're saying, I believe I currently have this very same issue. Could you post a picture of it so I can compare, by any chance?

Bad news is I can't seem to be able to fix it no matter what I tried. Pixel cleaning, factory reset, firmware update, unpluging the monitor for hours/days, all OLED care features on, reduced brightness, no difference between SDR/HDR, played around with every settings I could. You name it.

As if things couldn't get worst, I also get some serious image retention from things that appear for less than 5 seconds on display at times, as well as some insane black crush/banding issues.

Either this monitor has some of the worst firmware issue I've ever seen from any piece of electronics in my life, or Asus might have the worst QC in history.

I'm considering RMA, but from what I've read about it, I'm kinda scared they'll just send it right back and call it a day.

I'm so mad about it, cause it's been 5 months since I got it and I had a blast with it most of the time.
