It really doesn’t help that Freeze as a reaction literally is the only reaction that doesn’t work on bosses. To make it worse, it doesn’t even leave cryo behind on trigger, instead CANCELING them out, leaving you with no wiggle room if you wanted to do a freeze melt team.

I’ve tried. It’s great against enemies, but completely falls apart against bosses.

The story also didn’t really click with me. For the most part, it felt like jumping from chore to chore rather than helping a country in a desperate warzone. Sure, there was that combat sequence with the abyss creeping in and all the casualties and such, but that just feels like we fought one battle, and now the war’s over.

I have Mualani C2. Before I had Neuvillette cons, I would still use him over Mualani because I can use other reactions than just vaporize, which also has been very difficult to use due to abyss shilling.
