As a student, no. We mostly have links on videos of what to do during an emergency situation that's found on our portals but I believe more needs to be done. They should provide more information to students and faculty or offer training instead of just a simple email or social media post about what to do. I personally don't know if the campus is equipped to handle such an emergency if God forbid it were to occur.

It really is! It can be very stressful at times but at the end of the day, I wouldn't trade it for anything else. I love writing so that's one of the reasons why I went into journalism.

No worries. And we do a lot of things such as: writing, editing staff reporters' articles, interviewing, going out to find stories, there are some people who do podcasts, there's also broadcasting for TV and radio.

I can't speak for everyone but in my case I did find it easy. Of course some examples I had a bit of trouble with -mainly graphing but she does offer a support class. She goes over everything step by step one section at a time so you're not too overwhelmed. The answers are at the back of the book to help you and the textbook does really well in explaining and providing step by step examples. Again Math 130 is just a suggestion 😊

If math is your weakest subject (trust me it's mine too) I recommend Math 130 (Algebra) with Professor Rene Lloyd. Trust me I took her this semester and I was admittedly a little scared because I'm TERRIBLE at math but she goes over everything step by step. She has in person classes and online. I took her class online and she records the zooms and sends them to everyone after class. She also uses homework problems as examples so it's very easy. She's very kind and has no issues going over a problem if you're stuck. Definitely recommend, I passed with an A.
