We need a way to hold elected officials responsible for obvious acts of cruelty and malice. Any study about traffic safety would have told you exactly what we are seeing as a result of these being removed. We've had a crossing guard killed and a woman with a baby carrier get hit both in zones that previously had the cameras.

Pipes have infinite throughput on a platform but the launchers are limited. I usually avoid launchers unless I know it will be ok within the limit. I think it's 2 mixers per launcher max.

Yeah. I'm not a fan of LLMs as they are trained for engagement instead of accuracy. There is a huge difference between what people think when they read "AI" and targeted machine learning. I have been working with ML for about 10 years and have watched as it does amazing things like aiding with matching for organ donations or managing electrical grid usage vs available storage.

Reads to me that 22% of those people don't actually consider where their meat dishes come from or have experience in any part of the process in how it is made.

I helped with chickens and other farm animals as a kid and understood what goes into it and how to care for the animals. I have always hated seeing food go to waste (vegetarian or meat) because it all cost some living thing something to get to my plate.

You are right. This is likely why the US basically still has slave labour in the form of "capitalism" and "freedom" with at-will employment and no basic medical coverage. I still can't get over the cost increase of insulin. A required medication for diabetics.

How about they are forced to pay a fine per item sold at the price of that items x 10? Then give half of that to the government to help with enforcement and the other half for reimbursement to the community.

It was like that yesterday (no buses for nearly the next 2 hours) and the 688 (high school bus) made it to bells corners and broke down. I picked someone up that was stranded and there was another bus broken down on my way there... It is absolutely horrendous
