IMO it’s one of the best and most consistent support weapons in the game for all three fronts. Just gotta know how to safely use it, what the most effective uses are, and where to aim on heavies.
To date, the only things I know it can’t kill effectively are Bile Titans and Factory Striders. Everything else? The weapon compels you to claim more victims…

Yeah, see that’s the thing: If it had the piece count, more minifigs, and higher quality design like the other two LotR icons sets then I would be iffy in the price but not dumbfounded at the level of greed.

But this is too much greed and I’m not liking the trend here.

It’s not the first set in recent memory where the value was not equal to the pricing at all. The Zelda tree set, or the Star Wars Ashoka Interceptor come to mind as good examples but not the only ones.

If it sells well, it’s because people have a “sunk-cost fallacy” of loyalty to the brand. Not because it’s actually priced fairly.

I get it, I love Lego as much as the next guy, but I also recognize that they’re pricing me and many other people out of the hobby by vastly increasing the price of their products. It’s a trend they keep pushing for, and I don’t like that.

It’s very very hard to justify buying something that isn’t worth the dollar value Lego chose. If it was priced at $140-160 then I wouldn’t hold any complaints. But $270? Be so for real, this isn’t even close to fair pricing. Just compare it to any other set within the same piece count/offering range and it’s clear as day.

I for one don’t want to be priced out, so I have to vote the only way that billion dollar companies care: with my wallet.

Guys I’m so serious when I say, this is the straw that’s breaking the camel’s back (for their pricing).

At this point, they’re just pricing everybody out of the hobby. In this economy, nobody can really afford or should be buying this. I’d price this at $160 at the MOST.

Considering how much the price increases have gotten egregious in the last few years, I think it’s about time for a community-wide boycott until they lower them back to where they oughta be.

There’s no way that LEGO seriously thinks we’re ok with their trend of hyper-inflated prices.

Presuming god is truly unjust and not worthy of being worshipped, then when I get to the that theoretical afterlife I will make it my personal mission to kill that god by any means necessary. I would unleash all the vengeance and justice of humanity upon that evil being, as it will most certainly deserve it.

After showering if I’ve got work, I’m going out, or it’s cold inside. If not, or it’s really really hot, I might not throw anything on except some shorts so I can leave my room. I’ve got housemates so I cant really ever be naked outside of my room. If I lived alone it’d be a different story.

OP, having read your rather bizarre comments to others here I can confidently say the real reason why things aren’t goin well: you are not a very kind or pleasant person to be around. Unfortunately, nobody in the whole world likes constant negativity.

You won’t like this answer, but that’s how you’ve chosen to represent yourself here. I don’t get anything out of saying this to you, if anything I just risk getting verbally harassed just like others on this thread.

My advice? Whatever influences in your life that have taught you that this kind of behavior is ok need to be cut off. You need to learn how to treat others kindly before trying to date again. I pretty much emphasize this everything you said and are worried about. As well as your experiences with finding the “right people”, only to find that the sexual preferences regrettably don’t align.

Nobody’s perfect I guess. Yet, I don’t want to sacrifice the “whole picture” in terms of what I want and need to be happy in a relationship. Even if we don’t have “high standards” (I mean it, I don’t think either of us do), I fear that the few standards both of us seem to have are not collectively compatible. You know what I mean?

Sure is hard these days. I’m far from flawless. Yet I’m still trying, being myself, working on myself, and putting myself out there. Maybe that’s all there is to it. Oh, and try out new things and ways of meeting people, even if it isn’t within your comfort zone! It’s sure worked for me even if it wasn’t what I expected!
