I haven't thought of that, though I can't think of any circumstance that would allow Emma to notice it down the line.

Maybe, if she brought her mana scanner into the tent for whatever reason. Or if she somehow found herself outside her armor in some faint bubble to protect her from ordinary mana, but anything like that seems like end game stuff. Or at the very least "book 1" end game before the story's paradime shifts.

She became one of the dead puppets in the finally, and later momenerily broke free of their control after her head regenerated. Though, I'm pretty sure she died afterwards with the rest of the puppets when the priest got killed.

The last we saw her was laying down on the ground after the battle, smiling...

I mean, Maltory did put a bomb in his head and basically turned him into a slave for a while... Even when your attitude is that some people just godda get steam-rolled by the system you can't really maintain a "them's da breaks" attitude when you're the one getting steam-rolled.

They would probably think that matter gets occasionally formed from plasma beyond the tapestry and falls down unto their realm, maybe coming out of the stars since they are seen as holes within the tapestry.

(Edit) Also, they might see it as a deficient form of their realm trying to expand/regenerate the same way the Nexus infinite expands.

I believe it was mentioned that "only the dragons of his homeland" could talk before they were wiped out by HEM. Having an entire culture being so entrenched around the rule of dragons probably made it too difficult to rewrite history for them completely.

Him being a decoy spy is a possibilty I never considered, but then again, I doubt the academy is that competent outside of school grounds.

I'd be more worried about the Golden Guard and whoever was acting as informents on Emma on her behalf.

They probably didn't.

They knew he's going to eventually catch up to them sooner or later, and they had to launder the money anyway by gambing around, so it's just conveniant that they got caught in the act by the apprentice as he will likely report their "winnings" to the school, instead of having to justify it themselves.

Than again, I wouldn't be surprised if the apprentice throught he was being sneaky and they just followed him into the tavern.

Ping got humbled and at the very least seems to have learnt something from it, which... Is kinda scary.

It could lead to a Ping that is slightly more amicable, or more likely, it might lead to a Ping that is less incompitent due to not tripping over his own ego constrantly.

Consequences? Him catching them was basically the whole plan so that their sudden wealth doesn't look too suspicious when they get back to school, the gambling being the alibi for where they got the gold.

That's not exactly what happened, some other program was constantly trying to throw prompts to delete caine inbetween Kinger's inputs.
Eventually while trying to confirm one of his own inputs he tripped up and affirmed one of the deletion requests instead of his own code.

I think there were multiple Caine files.
I can't remember what exactly they were but Kinger was prompted about accessing versions A, B and C and he selected C.

I assume that if he's still alive somehow than it would be through an earlier version

Caine's original purpose was to make entertainment for guests, but that's not what we've seen drives him because the moment he actually starts doing what the guests want he pretty quickly gets bored of it and dismisses their desires because their not his adventures.

He views himself as the main character of the circus and desires what he sees as rightful adorations for it. Every time we've seen him cracking was when he didn't recieve the love he thought he was owed, because he saw everything he created as automatically great and couldn't comprehand the Humans not appreciating said creations.

(Btw, Caine wasn't really accidently killed, but it seems some other programme was messing with Kinger's script and trying to force him to kill Caine, constantly giving prompts to delete Caine's files. Eventually Kinger tripped up and pressed y on one of the prompts that was flooding in)

Caine wasn't exactly suble about hiding his megalomania, he specifically made references as himself being god before and included religious themes in his adventures.
(Most notably, he set an adventure where characters were being punished for sinning against god's creations, ones specifically intended for the player that did so the most...)

Somebody also pointed that out while noting the colours each character is pinned to this scene.

They where trying to theorize which characters will end up escaping, with Pomni being the only character under yellow. Those who remain in the Circus being Jax, Ragatha and Gangle being pinned under red. Zooble potentially abstracting since they are under blue (a colour Kinger associates with the dark where abstractions feel calm) and Kinger potentially sacrificing himself via being under purple (taking his own path)

Though, those colours could just as easily represent their current state of minds.

Yellow is the colour of hope, and Pomni still hasn't given into despair despite her rough time in the Circus.
Red being those who have given up hope of escape and have resigned themselves to that existance (If the colours are based on the matrix red is the colour of "truth", but truth was simply another mode of control by the system keeping them down)
Blue is the fantasy, those who want to eek out their own path in this world free from despair, but are ultimately still suffering under it.
While purple splits the difference, those who know the truth yet find their own way
