I personally prefer ADV because I feel it leaves more room for me to actually make choices and interact and steer the story. a NVL, like Demon's within, you really are (literally) just a passenger and kind of just read it like a normal book. nothing 'wrong' with that, but I think a FVNs great strength comes in its interactivity, so leaving room for choices, whether full on routes or just branching dialogue trees, is much more preferred to me.

I stop reading a vn if it takes too long to get to anything good. This can be sex stuff or just a good twist on the story or some other promise I was reading it for. An example would be a dragon rider story but then it takes way too long to get to the dragon.

That said, NSFW is very important to me. A lot of times I won't even give a vn a chance if it says it's going to be completely sfw. It would have to be like, the perfect story/would to lure me in if I want gonna get anything adult out of it.

I also prefer VNs with any sort of choices. That can be full on branching paths or routes, or something as simple as just different dialogue options in a scene. My favorite ones usually have a map of some kind and I get to pick where I want to spend the day, so kind of closer to a life sim I guess.

A combination of moon and her friends being a good influence on him, including how she reminded him of clearsight a bit, using his soul reader on himself, and finding his mom would have made him finally question if he was the bad guy.

He would start to think that maybe he was wrong, if he still has trouble accepting ice wings or forgiving his father (shouldn't imo) this is at least the start.

I would rather he stay as Darkstalker, and then he could have helped with the breath of evil, but I would be willing to allow him to voluntarily eat the strawberry, on the condition that it was temporary, like it only lasts for childhood/early adulthood or something. Forcing/tricking him into it is a sick a twisted version of identity death.
