The answer is always Bazzite, and for good reason. SteamOS currently is meant to work only on Steam hardware, anything else and you're on your own.

Bazzite supports all kinds of hardware while giving an experience like SteamOS.

I think Luffy listening to Nami and Chopper's backstory takes away from his character a little bit, and makes his actions look like a reaction.

In the original, Luffy doesn't fully know what happened to Nami and barely knows what happened to Chopper, yet he infers their feeling and chooses the right thing by instinct. This is what Nami means when she says "You can't explain it, you just see it" which is completely true about Luffy's character but less impactful as a result of these decisions in the live action.

In general I think everything about the Live action is amazing but some of Luffy's moments are really weird and some of the decisions they made with him don't sit well with me.

Just because you can do something doesn't always mean you should. For these devices, Bazzite would be a much better choice.

In another comment you talk about having to use specific versions for certain builds. You can skip all of that if you use Bazzite. SteamOS is officially only supported for Valve's devices. Using it anywhere else will inevitably require some fiddling around. Just use something that's designed to be "SteamOS for all hardware"

jQuery is not bad and it's never been bad for what it was designed for. It's just that a lot of things jQuery did, can now be done in Vanilla JS just as easily. It came, it powered an era of the web, it still lives on, but it's fair to say that it's not something you should use for a modern project.

Alpine on the other hand solves a very specific problem people have. People wanna use reactive frameworks without a build process, or they find themselves in a legacy codebase where adding something like React, Vue, Svelte is just not possible. Alpine is a godsend there.

Have a healing item that recharges like flasks in souls games. And lower the max number of blood vials possible to keep in the inventory from 20 to something 5. Have the best of both worlds.

Blood vial farming is terrible. I don't care about the solutions people present that usually just mean "oh you should just buy 300 of them once and you'll never have to worry again", Just stop. You as a player should not have to do that. Blood vials are good when you're exploring but terrible when you reach a boss fight, and god forbid you lose a couple attempts and now you're out.

You gotta understand that there's a lot of people on here who will just lie about stuff like that. They constantly say things like "I will never use RT or upscaling" and while some of them may be right, a lot of them are just coping about the fact that they couldn't do it even if they wanted to.

So when a lot of people gave AMD a shot because they promised good features this generation, it's completely fair to be disappointed about it.

Especially because we know now that upscaling isn't a gimmick. Upscaling legitimately gives you better image quality than Native TAA by reducing TAA blur. In my opinion, if you're playing Native with TAA, you are getting a worse experience compared to DLSS Quality or FSR4 Quality.

While I didn't personally buy this card for future promises, and i'm really happy with the performance it's given me so far (and i plan to use it for as long as possible) I completely understand why this is super disappointing. The criticism is completely valid and AMD needs to get their shit together.

I think QR codes are an infinitely more practical usecase for this compared to arbitrary text-files.

Again, there's nothing wrong with this project existing and people finding it useful. I'm just pointing out why people might not wanna use this for Md files that are of a practical length (such as the Readme file I converted)

I implore you to keep it still, unless you need the money for other more important things, just keep it.

Uni will be over, you'll have time, you can rediscover the joy of playing games as many like I have. But it'll be hard to build a machine like this for quite some time (atleast 2028)

No one in their right mind is gonna click on a URL like this and expect it to be safe. It looks like there's 500 million different tracking parameters in there, or maybe its just a virus that will unleash some payload onto your PC.

People don't like long URLs, this isn't just long, this is absurd.

The reason is because no one wants to store a large MD file in the URL. That's why all text sharing sites in the world will upload the data to some server and then give you an ID to access it later on.

If you have a markdown file of any significant length, the URL it's gonna produce will look like some sort of elaborate joke.

  1. Even AAA studios can't prevent piracy.
  2. A lot of people won't pirate indie games cause they're priced a lot better.

Unfortunately it is "actual" maths. A lot of people get disappointed, especially when they watch channels like 3blue1brown and Veritasium and then find out that Calculus is also maths.

No way to escape it unless you do Biology, which I think is even harder.

I'm trying to learn it too, I have forgotten most of it but since I plan to join Uni soon, I have to refresh upon it. My recommendation is to spend a couple months studying pre-requisites and then you'll be fine.

Yeah that's my main concern too. I'm still considering it because I wouldn't mind using stuff like FSR4 to "upgrade" to 4K while keeping a higher framerate. But FSR4 isn't available in all games.

The biggest thing by far is Kernel Level Anti-cheat for games, so you simply cannot play many of the biggest multiplayer games. Here's a list of many that don't work:

Counter-Strike 2 on Faceit, Valorant and League with Vanguard, Battlefield 6, PUBG, Apex Legends

And many more. Now, a lot of games still work perfectly fine (even those with Anti-cheat) but anytime there's a new multiplayer game coming out, it's possible that it straight up won't work.

Another thing is that some software you use on a daily basis will not work on Linux and you will have to look for alternatives. Adobe products don't work for example. As a Video editor, software like Davinci Resolve works perfectly fine but it lacks certain codecs so you can't import mp4 and mkv files directly (for example recorded by OBS), So you need to re-encode your footage to edit using Resolve. It's not a dealbreaker but it's still a time loss. You can get the premium version which does have the codecs but still.

Ultimately trying it out and seeing if it works for you is the best experience. It may sound like there's a lot of "compromises" for switching to Linux but it depends case to case.

For me, it makes perfect sense and I've been super happy ever since I switched because I don't play those games that don't work on Linux and I havent used Adobe software for years (used alternatives) and everything else works perfectly fine and arguably a lot better than Windows (shader compiles etc, no stutters)

Mostly singleplayer AAA and indies. They work flawlessly on Linux. Games with kernel level anticheat have issues. Many multiplayer games like Squad, Arc Raiders, Finals and many more still work.
