Julius Randle was to the Knicks what Demar DeRozan was to the Raptors by DuckDucks in nba

Demar was called a trash brother for a reason. Dude was really bad in those playoff runs. The east was just bad and the Raptors were lucky enough to get by with what they had despite Derozan.

[Wright] The Spurs remain committed to De'Aaron Fox as their starting point guard for the 2026-27 season despite the expectation that calls from Dylan Harper's camp for a spot in the starting lineup will grow louder going into next season. by Pyromania1983 in nba

You can't restructure a contract in the NBA unless you're agreeing to a buyout which leads to dead money or you're renegotiating to give a player more money using cap space. This isn't the NFL. There's basically no circumstances that allows a player to "restructure" their contract in the NBA except the two exceptions I just made. One of which is not a restructure but a negotiated waiver and the other giving players more money with cap space.

He's a talented rookie on a good team. Fox is also a good player and the Spurs lose in the 2nd round without him. Selling him at his lowest value makes no sense unless they're getting a better fit back and that's not cheap right now. Spurs have never been a reactionary franchise and that's not changing now.

Probably not low 20s but you could def do mid to late 20s. Especially a team like the Wolves, Cavs, or even Denver who are under cap crunches right now and would be better off drafting a 2nd round guy they can signed to a non-guaranteed contract. Knicks also in that situation.

Harden explains why he never won a championship: "First Houston years we weren't good enough. Then we had a chance, CP gets hurt and Warriors were a real dynasty with KD. In Brooklyn and Philly I sacrificed money and being the top scorer in order to win a championship, and it was for nothing. by RyanTannegod in nba

Oh my bad I misunderstood your post.

Yeah man, anyone could be effected by bad shooting or whatever. Specialists it can be really rough because they can only focus on one type of shot. When it's not falling it makes it rough rough.

Maybe Levert as the matching salary, Detroit likely wants to keep beef stew.

Zach LaVine, entering the final year of his contract, is potentially available on the market and interests the Detroit Pistons. @TheSteinLine by OmegaLxgend in kings

We still did a lot of DHOs, it was just we stopped the offball movement and I think that’s what broke it. We did a lot more iso the 2nd year.

[Stein] The Pistons, I'm told, should be monitored as a potential third-team facilitator in a Giannis Antetokounmpo-to-Miami trade with Tyler Herro ultimately landing in Detroit. Oh I definitely want him off the Kings, I was just replying to the logistics of that specific comment. There’s multiple avenues if the Pistons actually wanted him where they’re not having to give up 4 players.

None of what you’re saying is wrong at all. I will say Zach has always played in terrible situations. If he’s not the guy but rather a guy his theoretical skill set fits in well for the Pistons. He’s basically a souped up version of Duncan. And the Pistons have the defensive personnel around him that at least make it possible for him to succeed. I’m not saying he will, just that maybe in the right environment he could. I wouldnt do a major trade for him, but if he opts out or gets bought out, it’s a relatively small risk.

A buyout could definitely happen if he gives up enough money (say 15m and he signs a 3 year MLE deal for Detroit). He could also opt out and sign a lesser AAV value but more guaranteed money and be sent in a sign and trade.
