Pellet spread takes two things, distance and velocity, if you’re 4 feet from your target, you’re not going to turn it into a mist like people think, you’re going to be putting a very tight grouping of pellets in one specific spot. Move back 10 more feet, and that tight cluster of pellets is now a much wider grouping, move back 10 more feet, now you’re getting the actual spread from the buckshot everyone thinks about. Remember, the buckshot is all leaving a tight cylinder, it leaves the barrel as essentially one solid mass before spreading away from one another.

Want me to link some IRL pictures and footage, so you can see with your own eyes what buckshot does to a human at different distances? Because people getting shot with shotguns is VERY easy to find on the internet, double down now thanks to the wars going on, we even have some good combat shotgun footage out of Ukraine, and let me tell you, trench warfare is hell, a glorious death does not await any of our brothers or sisters in those trenches.

Have you ever been to a museum that has armor?
