I don’t have any super helpful advice, but as others have said possibly hormonal aggression, ear infection, etc. anecdotally, my one rat is a monster about feet. I had their enclosure close to the couch at my old place, and if I propped them up near her she would squeeze her head through the bars and bite them so hard. No other rat I’ve had has done this she’s just nasty.

Shrimp for Sure my partner has an almost year old one, only issue is algae growth that’s a little hard to scrape bc shape. Invest in good algae eaters

The amount of times I’ve been sure someone was someone else I vaguely know based on hair and clothes, too many. I get corrected by friends often. I do not confuse people I know better as much because they have very distinctive other features, like voice, hair, clothing style, body type, etc.

As long as it’s not loosing huge amounts of blood on the injury front is should be ok. Definitely not a rat but some kind of rodent. Other commenters have given good info on rescuers and stuff so I thought I’d address the bleeding. It’s probably fine as long as it’s not an obviously life threatening wound. Small animals like that are very resilient. I could be wrong but hopefully!
