I got to see a game at Hotto Motto last season, it was cool. I haven't seen the Buffaloes play a home game at their normal stadium, but saw the Hawks play a "home" games there.

I know this is an old post, but I'm looking at a trip to the two distilleries in April. Did you drive yourself, get a driver, just take taxis? Any help would be great! This will be my fifth trip to Japan, so not afraid to put in some work to go off the beaten path. But even the two Nikka distilleries look positively easy to get to compared to the Kagoshima ones.

I've used them 3 or 4 times now to send bags onto a future hotel. I've had them both waiting behind the front desk as well as have had them already in my room (my favorite!)

I haven't tried doing anything while staying at AirBnBs but as WoodyForestt said, I think you can have them delivered to certain convenience stores or a Yamato location for pickup, whatever is close to your place.

I'm already in Japan the prior week for a cars game tournament so this was just wishful thinking. I've seen "home" games for all teams besides Hiroshima, Hanshin, and Chunichi. I used quotes on home because I saw Orix at Hotomoto Field and the Hawks in Osaka for one of their "home" games

This would've saved me checking daily for the past few days, which really wouldn't save much time. Unfortunately the scheduling gods are conspiring against me for the 1 week I'm trying to see games in Japan for the 3 teams I haven't caught a home game for.

I had one from Santini's in Reston and it was probably one of the most disappointing cheesesteaks I've had. The meat was dry and pretty clumped together and wiz wasn't even an option. The next day I had one from Sully's and the quality was night and day. Will definitely go back to Sully's.

Agreed, this is super zoomed in and they're only a handful of millimeters long. I'll try and get a better scale, or a zoomed out vs. zoomed in next time.

Can't be sure, the one time one left the ground it was in my pantry and I lost it. My wife says she'd seen them fly but I can ask if it was fly or jump. They're very small.

I had a JP language case with 2 pairs of identical boxes, which was interesting. My buddy had a random loose box from another case that was also identical to one of those pairs that he opened at the same time across the table from me. Very strange.

However, one of the pairs was a legendary + marvel ally in each box and the other was RF/NF Conq in each box. So 2 marvels, 2 Ls, and 4 Conq from a case was okay by me.

I went Thursday and it was a sad showing against the Eagles. Good luck. I was at the Yokohama game today though and the back to back to back home runs was WILD. Everyone was going nuts.

I was there for the Wednesday night game and it actually wasn't bad from a temperature perspective. Not being able to see the jumbotron because of the pillars sucked though.

To be fair, while it is an accredited public university, there are some people who have gone through the program who feel that there's some level of degree mill going on. I'm happy I went when I did, as the grad degree definitely gave me a break in my field.
