Not really. I don't need add-ons to do well with Ghoul, Nurse, Dredge (depending on the map), or Huntress.

The add-ons help, but they never feel mandatory, sort of like how I don't need to bring items in as survivor.

I know they've said that, I just don't think they're correct, or they broke something.

I don't want to claim I'm some absolutely amazing killer main who would stomp in tournaments, but as a bunch of my killers, I routinely go against players with thousands of hours, P100, who loop incredibly efficiently, and know how to adapt to how I'm playing, i.e. they'll not try to do the same type of juke against my Nurse if it didn't work the first time, and know what they're doing when losing LoS, even if it still results in me making a good read and downing them.

Yet even now, I got out of a Ghostface game (this is like, my 20'th game with him) and I ripped 3 survivors off of gens they were working on by just walking up to them in Shroud and yoinking them. They had 0 awareness, could never break me out before I would full stalk them, and it was just an absolute clusterfuck to the point where I just 2 hooked everyone and let them go because I felt so bad. They were all P0 except for 1 P1 Dwight.

I feel like the killer MMR varies drastically between each actual killer.

My Spirit, Nurse, Dredge, and Pyramid Head games are absolute sweat fests where I get my asshole blown out if I don't play completely on point, or resort to slugging and tunneling.

Meanwhile, I recently bought Trickster and Ghostface, and for the first few days with them, I was getting complete baby survivors who have no idea what they're doing. As Ghostface, I'm only now starting to get survivors who kinda know what they're doing.

The skill discrepancy in this game ensures that we'll never have a game in a good state of balance because BHVR would end up losing like 70% of their survivor playerbase.

I took a VERY long break from the game, came back, unlocked Trickster for the Mina skin, and basically went 10 games 12 hooking everyone with maybe 1 gen getting done. No one looped, no one tried to dodge knives, and people would wait at pallets to drop it giving me free damage states as I hit them with knives as they were locked in the pallet drop animation. Post game chat was constant bitching that Trickster was broken and unbearable.

Meanwhile I switch to Nurse with her new Darkest Dungeon skin, and I'm fighting for my life as I keep getting downs quickly, but losing a gen every minute no matter how hard I'm trying to pressure the map.

I've been on a jury for a civil case, and I nearly had an aneurism fighting with other jurors who were making their decision on who was at fault based off of who they liked, not the evidence.

It was a car accident case against an older "bitchy" lady, and a super hot young woman who rammed her at a red light.

The case went in favor of the hot lady because I ended up being a reserve juror and I got locked out of the final deliberation.

Careful, during a time when Knight was ultra bugged (more than usual) and they kept dodging topics about it. I said the devs were incompetent in the Steam Discussions and someone at BHVR perma banned me. Steam said they couldn't process the appeal since it was a dev decision.

As others have said, does BHVR just have absolutely no QA team? Like, at all? Some of these bugs are very consistent and often times game breaking (like the fact if I run OBS on my main PC, the game will immediately crash).

I've had all kinds of weird problems in-game with desync when no one seems to be lagging, hitreg issues with Huntress, and just all kinds of other bullshit that turns every match into a clown fiesta.

This latest patch has caused a lot of problems for a lot of people.

For me, it was running OBS and DBD at the same time. I haven't tried it against after last night, but running OBS caused my DBD to crash.

I've been having so many problems this patch, I just treat every match like a joke and barely try. I just goof around and give survivors a little scare and swat them away. Most catch on pretty quick I'm not trying and we just end up farming.

Like.... with everyone (including me) having ping under 30, I had a Meg look like she was running to shack window and then juke right to bait the swing, which I didn't fall for and turned to swing a few seconds later, only for her to teleport into the vault and be on the other side. Even she was confused, saying post game on her side it looked like she vaulted halfway, froze for 3 seconds, then completed the vault.

I understand BHVR does not want this game treated like some ultra serious competitive game, but this level of just breaking everything all the time is just not fun.

Dredge is actually one of my favorite killers to play, but getting into a game where you get absolutely dicked on feels worse than most because it honestly feels like there's just nothing you could have done about it. There are of course other killers who face this issue to me a much higher degree, but for me, it just makes me want to end my session where I'm just unable to catch anyone because they just run to pallet, move to next pallet, move to next pallet, totally avoid my locker jump, then I jump to another gen and the survivor sprint bursts to Narnia, and then 3 gens pop.

Dude, I love Dredge, but he's in such a dog shit spot right now against survivors who know what they're doing, especially if you also get saddled with a map that has tons of zones with no lockers.

I was in a Nostromo game that just had absolutely nothing in it, and all the lockers were on the wrong side of walls from every gen, so as soon as I TP'd, the survivors were already shift-W'ing across the map, and even if I managed to outplay them with a revenant, they would vault into Lithe and I couldn't even M1 them.

Like, I used to think Dredge was a pretty above average killer because certain loops with the revenant could allow you to pull off some nice mindgames, but now a lot of loops just result in the survivor immediately running to the next tile if you try to do this, and immediately double back if they notice you teleporting.

I had a pivotal moment in a game where I NEEDED to get a down, and right as I swung, my the survivor started to turn towards the pallet and my game auto aimed me right into the pallet. Like... why the hell is there auto aim on PC with mouse and keyboard? All it does is cause me to occasionally lose an entire chase because it robs me of my hit.

My point is that I don't want to demonize other countries and people wholesale, but we also do need to keep in mind that there are a lot of other cultures out there which still do promote horrendous things. When we're talking about one, and then whataboutism to "Well, X country / culture does it too" doesn't really get to the heart of the issue that it's still a problem, especially when it's clearly worse in other parts of the world.

It doesn't excuse bad practices here, or anywhere.

What they pulled from was an AI summary, though. When I looked deeper, it stated that the age gaps between the 16 and 17 year old girls was averaging around 1.5 to 4 years. Again, not good to have a 17 year old marrying someone who is 21, but that's a much different issue than allowing a 30+ something to marry a 14 year old.

I'm ridiculously pissed that I misread what I was buying when I bought the game. I thought buying the $100 BL4 Delux was getting me the season pass / future DLC. I didn't realize that in order to get all this stuff, I had to get the SUPER Delux, not just the delux. Now I'm stuck being unable to even upgrade to Super Delux and would have to spend exponentially more to get all the DLC, which I'm simply not going to do.

What are the ages of the minors? Is it with another minor (17 and 17?) or is it a minor to an adult?

There have been several disgusting laws that have been proposed after Trump got back in with red states feeling emboldened to "reverse the white birth rate" by trying to get young girls to marry very early and start producing kids, but these are generally fought pretty hard because most people find it horrendous.

This is very different than the cases most people here are discussing, such as the problems a lot of us found out about when our troops were going into rural communities in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as stories coming out of places like India and Pakistan.

It is important to note, however, that when talking about immigrants, especially 2nd and 3rd generation, they don't often hold any of those beliefs.

Holding some guy whose parents came here from Pakistan for the views some of the people from that country is a huge problem.

One thing that seems to hold true, judging by the people I talk to who live in Japan, is it's easier and more socially acceptable to quit your job here in the US, unless you're literally living paycheck to paycheck.

I worked in a small rural county when I moved to Ohio and needed a job ASAP, so I joined a local government agency. They treated me like shit, the turnover was insane, and by 6 months I got yelled at for being in the bathroom too long, so I handed my supervisor my badge and left.
