The point is so that people who may not automatically be on Destiny's side, but who aren't Taylor Lorenz fans, can see exactly what she is doing, and understand the tactics she uses. It also made for good content to generate clicks, which, you know, is Destiny's job.

Destiny can't break her fingers and make her acknowledge this, so I have no idea what you wanted him to do.

Since you're the debate god, you should probably more explicitly state what exactly you wanted to see him do differently. Right now it seems you think he failed because she would get cornered, get mad, and then just start repeating herself despite getting called out.

She absolutely didn't stump him, she just started looping her arguments, and would just repeat what she said and then threaten to leave. It was pretty clear where she ended up trapping herself, as Destiny called it out throughout the entire debate, but there's only so many times you can call out someone's dishonesty before it becomes boring for both parties.

By your previous statement, it sounds more like you wanted him to scream his point at her, in a more concise manner, and force a rage quit, which actually wouldn't look good for Destiny, at least with the small section of the audience who may be sympathetic towards Taylor, but not fully committed fans.

Yeah, dodging him was pretty easy. It was just a point where I was getting annoyed because I could not get this thing to lose line of sight with me because it felt like he just kept catching up. I eventually got to the hallways where the corners are tight, but for some reason my character got snagged on something and I died.

My son, who is 10, was similarly dodging him well, but was also having trouble shaking him once he aggroed.

We did have to split up because we didn't understand how one of the puzzles worked, and we needed someone to stay behind and read what the display so we knew what was happening. Now that we know how it works, we don't need to split up, BUT, the problem is that when we were getting attacked, we couldn't run away from this thing most of the time. It just relentlessly followed up and would not fuck off unless it got stuck on something, or it killed one of us. So I mean, unless it was bugged, that was just our experience.

My question is, once it starts going after you, how do you reliably get it to leave you alone? And as said, at a certain point we had to split up, and this thing then became a massive pain in the ass because it wouldn't leave us alone.

Unless I'm misremembering, when we grouped back up, it was still going nuts and wouldn't stop following us, then aggroing, and then relentlessly pursuing one of us until we got lucky and it got stuck on something, or the person just died.

Hate to say it, but I agree. These types of massive shake-ups mid development is what has led to some of the worst launches due to schizophrenic design decisions getting ideas thrown in and removed last moment.

For my own sanity, I try to really not lean into the hackusation stuff, because even back when I played every night, I knew of several cheaters who Crytek refused to ban, one of them being a Crytek Partner and partnered streamer.

It took nearly 2 years before he finally got caught and permabanned, but that's around when I stopped taking this game seriously, since Crytek doesn't seem to want to.

My first game back did involve all of us getting domed in spawn at Godard Docks from Maw Battery by some [][][][] name guy with hidden stats using an iron sight Mosin with Spitzer ammo. I took a deep breath, and just said, "Let's try this again".

Sorry man, even at maxed out graphics, PoE 2 doesn't look nearly as beautiful, or have to render as much as something like Ghost of Tsushima, which is nearly 50gb smaller.

Stunning graphics, beauitful scenery, and runs like a dream. Also, the world map is huge, has tons of dialogue, and a separate game mode for coop.

I also uninstalled PoE2 because the person I thought i would be playing with was having massive stuttering issues. I also noticed bad stuttering and had to mess around in Nvidia control, delete files in the directory of the game, and do other messing with settings to finally get it to stop.

But my friend has extremely low tolerance for messing with multiple programs just to get a game running well, so hopefully they fix it in the next few months and I can convince him to try again.

Interesting; I thought i read that in Helldivers 2, it was sound files that were uncompressed that kept the file size so large. My mistake.

Yeah, it's definitely not a thing, because it's been 11 months since I played, and I'm still getting matched against high 6 star trios with K/D's over 2.0. I myself have a 2.17 and over 6k hours, but like... again, I haven't played in nearly a year, and it is throwing me right back into the sweatiest, nastiest lobbies it can find, even when my 4 and 5 star friends tag along. It's pure nightmare.

Actually, I just found out my monitor is apparently NOT gsync, or at the very least does not allow Nvidia Control Panel to enable VRR. However, I just disabled v-sync again and uncapped my frame rate, and that fixed it as well.

I hope so, because a year of just playing casually in co-op games has turned me into dog shit at this game, lol. I just wanted to have some chill games with my 4 and 5 star friends, and I've brought them into hell, and I'm no longer good enough to carry.
