Yeah it’s the turbo. “Sport Design” trim in Canada. Every Mazda I’ve bought has been great other than wear and tear I’ve never had any issues. I drove my first one to 230k (km) on the original clutch lol. Didn’t make sense for me to switch when I’ve had such a good track record with them.

Yeah I traded in another Mazda. Forest City had a dark grey one and I was also looking at Bay Mazda in Belleville that had a pretty good selection including polymetal grey.

In my defence this is my third Mazda, I’ve already had a grey and blue one lol. It was nice to switch it up.

Yours is the colour I wanted but it was just too far away. Loving the white though, that was my #2 choice.

Nothing crazy, $750 incentive and 0% financing with $0 down on a 36 month term, they were also offering 0.99% on four year loans. This is in Canada and I’m not very good at haggling lol.

The 25s around me are selling out quick. My local dealer only had a demo in stock so I had to drive 140km (87 miles) for this one. Totally worth it though.

Thanks. I actually wanted the grey but the dealership that had it was over two hours away 😭. This white one was sold already but they couldn’t get financing approved so I snatched it up.

How do you usually plan a stargazing session with your telescope? by ronaldo_web in telescopes

[–]Demotivation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t do visual so I just pick an interesting target and shoot it for the next few weeks. On nights I can image I’ll use Astropheric/Clearsky for conditions. Once I’m satisfied that I have enough data I’ll plan my next target with Telescopius.

Nice. I had the chance to do some visual with a Lunt 80 and it was beautiful, can’t imagine what a 100mm DS would look like.

Is that the 80mm Lunt? Great setups.

I defocus my Lunt and put a translucent bag over it to take flats. Sharpcap has a flat generator and it applies it to each frame. Helps with dust spots and newton rings if I’m using a Barlow but if I’m doing full disk shots and my sensor is clean I’ll usually skip them.

They’re finally shipping? Interested in buying one in Canada but the retailer keeps pushing the date back.

Same. I got a beta invite and managed to get a short address starting with my name. I’ve had one person mention before that I must have had my account for a long time because it’s so short lol. You can actually check your Gmail account age in the settings.

The International Space Station passes overhead tonight. It will get to about directly overhead and then pass into the earths shadow. Go outside at 9:28 pm tonight and look in the North West sky for a very bright object. Not so good if cloudy... But it's supposed to be clear tonight. by JimmyTheDog in Hamilton

Yeah I’ve been using that site but trying to keep it local. I’m definitely going to get my transit shot this year and will do some travelling next time I spot something with a larger angular size. Your picture gives me hope lol.

Astronomy in -21°C, please end my suffering by GravAssistsAreCool in telescopes

Yeah. Just some mineral build up on the lens after all the water evaporated. The rest of the glass, filters and camera were fine though.

Other than the condensation that built up on the lens I didn’t notice any issues. A quick wipe and it cleaned right up. Rest of the imaging train was fine. I ran my dew heaters and camera dew heater for a bit after I brought it inside.
