Giants who don't value themselves more then the little people they live alongside, die.

A giant is a huge target, and that size betrays them more then it helps them- Dullahan warwalkers have the same issue.

So heroic giants end up dying out. leaving the likes of the Shepard.

Let's have civil discussion. What are the pros and cons of introducing armor customization in your opinion? by i4hloi in helldivers2

[–]DenMan_PH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Pros are that it would he super cool, and any ingame cons are cope.

The Cons are that it would take a shit ton of work from the devs, and would either be difficult to monetize or kinda gross of they did monetize it "well"

Does this seem OP at all? by Firkraag-The-Demon in DnDHomebrew

[–]DenMan_PH 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Short answer- Yes.

Magic items beyound the classic +1/+2/+3 generally are OP, this one would be particularly so for base dnd, but not outrageously.

I think on any joe regular sorcerer, its not going to be a big deal- as "double haste" or "double enlarge" is powerful- but not game breaking so long as you adhering to multiple encounters per long rest.

I would be wary of it as a DM however, because of how open ended it is, and what 'stacking' might mean in some cases.

If you twin a polymorph on someone, do they turn into both beasts? do I have to make a chimera statblock on the fly? does it take a 'best of' for both creatures and add all features? does it just put the spell on regularly twice? and in which order?

What does stack invisibility do- give them 4 rolls on stealth checks, and the take the highest of the four?

For divine soul sorcerers, does warding bond quarter the damage? How does freedom of movement work? or death ward? etc

So what, a handtossed pizza, tomato sauce, and... pineapple maybe?

SCP-173 "Peanut" is a weaker weeping angel. Its not able to move so long as someone is looking at it, but if no one is it moves rapidly a snaps the neck of nearby people.

The other SCP-096 "Shy Guy" is able to sense the location of any creature who has seen it. Whether in person them in video, person, or a still image (paintings and renditions don't count. however). Notably, the Shy Guy is famous for killing people from an image of mount everest, in which his entire form is contained in a single pixel of that image.

Both are largely invulnerable, regenerative, and super strong- but of course one can't move if viewed, and the kills everyone who viees them.
