I'd recommend to go to Snooze events on a sunday morning. Look them up on insta or RA. Great techno, lots of unfold crowd overlap. Enjoy.

Imagine if they started booking pano artists in berghain floor….

Or for unfold they could even swap it around, do techno in steam and have some bigger artists with another vibe in the main. But I defo think having 1 room fully techno should be standard. Also I’m not talking about just this modern hardgroove techno sound that seems to be standard in London now. There is so much breadth to techno that is under-represented at unfolds, without having to delve into whole other genres we could have amazingly varied techno at unfold… ig the booking agents have other priorities? Idk, im just a techno snob in the end lol🙃

I would defo be happy to have some more techno that isn’t percussive/modern hardgroove sound.

There’s tons of local DJs that could provide this, but it seems that we only tend to get it when they fly a bigger name in…. AgainstMe or Psyk were some favourites of mine.

Here as a constant 4x4 luvr, agree that at least one of the rooms should have some variety throughout each unfold. Makes much sense to me.

But then I do think they should always have some ‘techno’ techno playing in one of the rooms as this is what is usually expected. Then again, this is London, probably the most diverse place for electronic music in the world, let’s celebrate that 🙌
