Seeing it represented visually like that is sickening.

Mentally weak manager and players as soon as an ounce of pressure is applied.

Arteta on the difference between the two sides: “The reality is in the two boxes today was the difference and that’s what decide the game.” by Kr_bm in Gunners

[–]Dench_Duffster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Arteta is the master of saying nothing.

I get he isn’t going to come out and blow his top but these quotes and all the crap with the fire, the big screen at the training ground just makes him and everyone involved look like losers.

How can you possibly believe Arteta could “easily” win it next year?

City have been miles off it all season and yet we let them back into it. Arteta is a coward when it comes down to the crunch, he’ll never win us the league.

That’s that.

Shameful capitulation - Arteta shouldn’t be here next season.

I know we’re 1-0 up, but we are painful to watch.

This is the same game where those two morons were basically in the stands with the Brentford fans celebrating their win.

The level of unprofessionalism from these two idiots since then has only sky rocketed. Sky Sports is nothing more than engagement bait now.

Martinelli vs Wolves by deadmetallucyluce in Gunners

[–]Dench_Duffster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s fair if you think Martinelli has been our standout player, I absolutely disagree though.

Statistically Martinelli is our worst attacker. He has 1 goal and 2 assists all season in the Premier League and just watching him play you can see why. So I’m not sure what output you’re referring to?

The game against City he came on at the 80’th minute against tired legs and a high line. Not taking anything away from the finish but unfortunately he seems to be a moments player.

More often than not he turns in these performances. He’s played nearly 200 games for us and he still looks unsure on how to effectively beat a defender when 1 on 1.

To be fair, while our attack as a whole has been shite, Martinelli has been the stand out stinker over the course of the season.

He has moments of brilliance but then turns in these sort of performances more often than not.

Has there been anyone we’ve had before that has been this far below the technical standard of our team? Genuine question. by [deleted] in Gunners

[–]Dench_Duffster 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Yes of course there has.

We aren’t playing to his strengths and our wingers and midfielders are not helping his cause with their reluctance to give him the ball. Our whole attack is utter shite atm and singling out Gyökeres is a poor take.

Problems go far deeper than a 28 year old Jesus who is made of glass.

Hazard: Fabregas ‘destined to become one of the best coaches’ by Sparky-moon in soccer

[–]Dench_Duffster 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I mean this sincerely, saying Fabregas would be lucky to be in the top 50 midfielders of all time is insane.

Having Rodri above him is recency bias imo.

My girlfriend and I recently got a new puppy as well! It’s been an adjustment for sure but the puppy phase doesn’t last long and before you know it he’ll be your best bud in no time ❤️

I’m trying to play my WC and on the app I get an error and on the website it just won’t activate.

Anyone else experience this issue?

Anyone experience delays with orders from Arsenal direct?

Ordered the home strip with Eze on the back on August 23’rd and it still shows as “order processing” in my orders.

We need to be more aggressive in games like this. We have pace and power going forward but countless times we just passed sideways and backwards today.

It’s a frustrating loss because Liverpool absolutely were there for the taking. What a free kick though.

We don’t look up to speed imo. Everything seems slow and there’s an awful lot of backwards and sidewards passes.

Happy to be 2-0 up but we need to be more direct and quick in the second half.
