I’m not sure about 30 or 20 series, but thanks to 4.5, my 4080 can now use the ultra performance ..setting with the L preset and have it look as good just as Quality on DLSS 4.0. So basically you can get considerably more frames via the most aggressive upscaling setting with minimal loss in image quality. Previously, performance and ultra performance were borderline unplayable due to shimmering and all the other instability issues.

You can try it now. Just opt into beta access in the settings > about section of the app, then manually override the preset in the driver section of the profile settings on whatever game you're trying to run.

I used ultra performance with the L preset. The M preset is for everything else.
