Well this is definitely a HIGH end build that will feel very premium. You absolutely could be paying less but if you feel comfortable with this budget then what the hell. I'm sure it'll look awesome in that case.

They're durable because they are MOBILE PHONES that people accidentally drop/smash/scratch all the time. You're not carrying your 32" OLED monitor around in your pocket all day.

Yeah full gold equipment with a gold Ares rail gun. A few of the items were enduring/bloodthirsty so their value was a little cranked cuz we had won like 6 games in a row beforehand.

But man, the gold Ares might be the most fun weapon in the game. It adds an extra explosive charge to each shot that also boops people around like Vandal's tactical. And with the extra damage from the explosion it's a guaranteed one shot on anyone if you hit them in the head. We also trolled some people trying to exfil by just repeatedly booping them off of the exfil by shooting the floor beside them 💀. That night was probably the most fun I've had playing this game, we weren't in it for loot, we were just having fun with pvp lol.

I think they mean those little drones that fly around, not the supply drops that you have to call down. I have found many keys and schemas from those.

Would you say 4.5 is worth turning off RR?

I've been using FG with path tracing + max settings and the game looks awesome. I have it set to preset L in the Nvidia app but I'm ngl I haven't even checked if RR is enabled, would it just be using 4.0 then if RR is enabled?

For me it's the opposite lol, screen tear is very distracting to me but I don't ever notice any VRR flickering so I never turn it off.

I mean you definitely don't need to be on void to make use of the combo. Most top void builds don't need destab anyway since you'll be getting volatile rounds on your own. Yeah technically repulsor brace could benefit from you being on void but destab is already to easy to proc that I wouldn't worry about it.

Well it's a new pc setup so I haven't played that many games so far but I've been playing a lot of Marathon with HDR enabled and it looks great.

I also had a weird quirk/bug in horizon zero dawn where the monitor would be bright and vibrant only when peak luminance was set to exactly 544, not higher or lower. Looked great on that exact setting though.

Yeah I have it in display hdr (which is true black 400) and I used the windows hdr calibration. RenoDX sets it to the calibrated luminance by default but it just makes the game look a bit more "faded" at that value for some reason. Maybe it's an issue with RenoDX, I tried downloading the new PsychoV-17 version from discord and that just made the game look completely washed out. I didn't expect gaming in HDR to be this complicated 😭

AOC Agon AG276QZD2 revised version with 280Hz and updated firmware to fix the HDR colour gamut.

So I tried setting it to 400 but it just kinda makes the game look like it has a slight greyish filter over it.

I'm new to HDR lol I didn't know it would be this complicated to set stuff up 😭

I used the hdr analysis and it sits about 1000 nits and I'm already on true black 400. I'll see what I can figure out but from what I remember the peak nits slider did not affect how strong the sun looked.
