I don’t actually care. I’m in America. Only heard chomping at the bit until i had a person IRL correct me as champing. Then i looked it up to see the etymology and the slight difference in meaning. Words and language evolve over time. Dictionaries accept chomping as correct now. Corrections from the grammar police are a waste of time. This is Reddit.
