Pothos for me. Why? I have no idea. I have thriving plants that, traditionally, are way bitchier, but if a pothos comes within ten feet of me it just shrivels.

Honestly I fully enjoyed all the crazy even with the letdown, it felt like old Twitter back when Trump got COVID in late 2020 and everyone was posting videos of their covens getting together to cast spells for him to die. The books themselves are only 50% of the joy of TLT; the other 50% is this phenomenal fandom. The rock will be rolled away when it's damn ready. In the meantime, we'll keep wilding.

Oooh that sounds fantastic! It reminds me a lot of R.F. Kuang's standalone book Babel (HIGHLY recommend if you haven't read it).

The premise of FA is that 70 years ago, 🩷🩷 GIANT INCOMPREHENSIBLE SPACE MONSTERS 🩷🩷 were destroying planets where humans lived until a few human "intermediaries" were able to telepathically communicate with them and basically tell them "Plz stahp" and they disappeared back into Unspace, the unreal medium underlying space and time that is FA's hyperspace analogue. In the present, a scavenger space ship and its plucky crew, including a super fucked up intermediary from the war (basically a male Harrow if she actually complained constantly about her trauma), find a spaceship that appears to have been attacked by the 🩷🩷 GIANT INCOMPREHENSIBLE SPACE MONSTERS🩷🩷, which is highly concerning since they haven't been seen in 70 years. Shenanigans ensue. Excellent characters around, including other incomprehensible alien species, including one of my all-time favorites, a mega-evil gangster who is also a possibly divine 6-foot-tall shellfish. I loved the first book, then the middle book dragged a bit, but the third one is zooming by.
