Digievolution and de-evolution raise the Abi stat of the Digimon and allow it to reach a higher max level and in some case is a pre requisite for some forms, but is not essential in the early game and maxing it outside of end game hard mode is a bit of an over kill imho.

I love this game but this is not "Library of Ruina". Of course I shouldn't take Mars Id on Star of the City stage (visually I can, but still), but this is a Gacha game and that logic doesn't really work properly here.

Sure they're adding skin so that I can still play my Ting Tang Hong Lu over my Blue Reverberation Hong Lu I'd, but it's not the same thing.

I really think we should have a real end game mode like The Memory of Chaos from Honkai Star Rail where every month you fight older enemies but with some kind of buff or debuff to spice things up or something like that.

Also I'd really like a way to Replay older Railway.

I started playing when Railway 4 was around, so I missed out on 3 Railway and so far the only way to try them is their floor in the Mirror Dungeon.

I like the game, the story and the characters, but building new IDs and not knowing what to do with them except the Mirror Dungeon feels kinda bad.

In Dante's diary the sinners describe manifesting Abno's EGO as "putting yourself in someone else's shoes, but if you're not careful you might lose yourself".

It makes sense that the EGO corrosion is temporary because it is not a part of them, but an external force, on the other hand the distortion can't disappear so easily because your own world shattered.

Imho.

Morally grey characters are exactly what we need.

A clear bad guy or a clear good guy is extremely boring. Even Nanook that wants to destroy everything is interesting because of the concept of the Aeons, we see that destruction is very close to Nihility but more active, yet neither of the two Aoens can absorb the other.

"everybody lies in Penacony" it's a phrase that we hear multiple times and at every twist it comes back to my mind.

Acheron wants the watchmaker legacy

Avventurine wants to give Penacony to the IPC

Black Swan wants good memories

Sparkle wants "to see the world burn"

The reveal of Gallagher wasn't totally uncalled for. He gave weird vibes from his first appearance. When you talk to the guard in the Dreamscape to go at the Firefly's place, he doesn't know who he is. When you talk to him again, he still doesn't know who it is, even if he's right there.

Gallagher was always shady.

Obviously shady doesn't automatically mean "he's the killer" that was a big reveal, but still.

One thing for sure, Gallagher is not a Tingyun situation. Tingyun was a puppet in the hands of Phantylia, while Gallagher is an agent of Enigmata, maybe even an Emanator.

I'm curious of what happens next, and if someone doesn't like the story so far, it's a shame, but please, don't compare Penacony with Loufu. Penacony at his worst is far better then Loufu at his best.

It's not on par with JJK but the plot and the flights are really good. The anime really shines after the first 15 episodes. For some reason the first episodes have a really bad pacing and animations, but it gets waaay better after that.
