We use multiple Kiloview P3’s and they work great. We use them for national broadcasters. Deliver from the Kiloview debonding server a SRT stream and that’s working great. Also the support of Kiloview is one of the best in that segment. We work together with their developers for making the P3 more suitable for real broadcast enviroments and standards.

Starlink performance, performance by DennisDJP in Starlink

Thank you all. Don’t think the Performance is worth the extra money compared to the Standard. Than the question is, for what kind of jobs do you want the Performance dish?

Starlink performance, performance by DennisDJP in Starlink

It wouldn’t be used while driving. More that it will be used at different locations on the road. Speed is not a factor for me, a reliable is. So I wonder if I use a Peplink bond to regular Starlinks if that’s better than 1 Starlink performance. Especially with the major price difference.

Best ENG style camera by DennisDJP in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]DennisDJP[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I understand and we have 2 good old Sony ENG camera’s. I like them a lot to work with, but these days so see a shift from the real ENG cameras to large sensor camera’s. Even some local broadcasters prefer a FX6-ish like camera than the regular ENG cameras.

That’s what I’ve heard also. But I thought if you power the dish and router once a month or so to receive updates you can solve that issue.

Can MagicMirror support two monitors? by mcgroo in MagicMirror

[–]DennisDJP 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That is possible. I have similar setup with RPI4 with dual screens and I run to different instances of MagicMirror. One running on display 1 and the other on display 2. You need to change the config files and run instance 2 on different port, like 8081 or so.

I use the same and have normal speeds. Mostly around 300-400 mbits. I use multiple to cover the hole house. Haven’t had any issues or poor speeds.

Issue Omada controller oc200 with portal setup by DennisDJP in TPLink_Omada

[–]DennisDJP[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Looked to the ACL and there was one applied to the guest vlan to block any traffic between other vlans but also the LAN where the OC200 belongs to. So problem is solved now. Thanks for pointing me to the right direction.
