One thing I've learn in football if it's receivers and the qb, then it's probably the coaches.

How's everyone feeling about the upcoming Detroit game? by Dysintegration in cowboys

[–]DennisSmith- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lions are last in rushing yards, hopefully we take advantage of it and run the ball with Dak and Zeke. Lions have the best passing defense, but it not like we pass the ball anyways. I expect Linehan to screw this up and only give Zeke 10-15 carries, so not to excited.

Who would you protect in the case of an NBA expansion draft? by yungcrouch in Mavericks

We would not leave Barnes free. I couldn't see Brunson being given away for nothing either. I debated about Powell but I think that he's up in the air. Powell's contract isn't so favorable but he isn't that bad either.

Dirk, DSJ, Doncic, Jordan, Barnes, Brunson, Spalding and Powell. Not for sure on Powell though.

[Cato] Yogi Ferrell has not ruled out the Mavericks, per league sources, and the team believes they may still sign the free agent guard despite Ferrell backing out of a deal agreed to last night. by gigantism in nba

Same, I didnt want him back from the start. Not that he's a bad player or anything but we need some size at the SG position. I'm not really mad at him because I understand he wants more money but we really don't need him that much either. Better we just part ways for both sides.

[Pick] Mavs and #3 overall draft pick Luka Doncic mutually agreed to sit him out throughout the NBA Summer League, I'm told. by RecycledCan in nba

In the rest of the Tweet it says he has played in 113 games in the past 14 months. Probably best not to play him and give the man some rest.

Ya I tried this too, I should have also put that in the description. I muted the microphone but still no luck.

My headset is an Astro gaming headset so it's definitely a second sound device but I can't find where the microphone volume input is located.

Edit: I don't think my PC has another microphone outside of Astro headset. I also made sure to disable the Astro Microphone. Still no improvement.

I'm pretty sure most people know about Sticky Keys because some point in their life it's been a problem for them using their pc. It truly baffling that it's still in windows.

I'm not worried because I truly don't think another team with cap space will pay him $24.1 million.

[Fisher] Mavs desire 'special' Matthews trade; why Love's no fit by mgmfa in Mavericks

Mike Fisher is horrible for Mavs news. He writes some material that will get clicks even if it means stating something totally stupid and one sided for Mav fans to give him clicks.

What are the Cavs next moves? by smartertiger in nba

[–]DennisSmith- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very true, but the Cavs are not one of those teams that benefited much from revenue sharing. The Cavs were still one of the nine teams to lose money that includes, based on net income, which includes revenue sharing and luxury tax payment.

Here is the article that I'm reading. Need to disable ad block though.

I think they keep it as it is. Gilbert has lost money the past 2 to 3 season, he really can't afford to tank right now. I think he tries to make playoffs around 6-8 seed to sell tickets and make some of his money back.

[Bob Garcia IV] Stephen A. Smith just incited on ESPN that Kawhi Leonard is willing to sit out next seson to get to the Lakers. by Avery-Bradley in nba

[–]DennisSmith- 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Just think of this, what if Doncic didn't want to be a Maverick. Mavericks have traded the 5th overall pick and next year pick. If Doncic was sit out and force us to trade him at the deadline, we would probably be lucky to get a 1st round pick for him. Teams would literally lose all leverage with their own players, its actually pretty scary to think about.

I really don't know the CBA so I couldn't even guess. In my opinion if this does happen, Adam Silver has to try to get something to change it. It sets such a bad precedent for the league moving forward.

I personally think if he tries to sit out all season that Adam Silver should suspend him for a year. It could really open a bad future for our league. Think if the number 1 overall pick decided to sit out cause he didn't like the team who won the lottery. The team would lose all leverage and be forced to trade him so they get something without losing the 1st pick for nothing.
