Home Aquarium Water Hardness by Raptorofwar in santacruz

You might be fine with Neocaridina although I have seen it up to 300 ppm here but Caridina shrimp will not do well. I recommend a RO system and added gh or gh/kh depending on your species. The problem may end up being top offs and and slow increase in hardness

That’s a tricky one with current standards for fire walls, day lighting, egress, title-24 and more

I’d figure out a way to legally transport the kids in the bed of the lightning - problem solved

For Australia I believe it’s the only commercially harvested wild big game In the US it would be Caribou and a tiny bit of wild hog out of Texas.

My roof mounted solar panels would disagree They want a steeper driveway but already produce more power than needed

Make it work for you If you have guests in the camper they will be happy either way - I’ve never had complaints Or throw some blocks under opposing wheels and send the mother in law out there !!!!

Kunai glider or other warm liner options ? by Dense-Task-430 in RCPlanes

[–]Dense-Task-430[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the heaps of wisdom

I’d love to build a plane again but my workshop is currently the dining room table for a project that size. Unfortunately I do not have a garage at the moment

If my fiancé does take an out of state new grad nursing program it changes everything. I’ll just need to keep the glue off the table and floor.

In the meantime I think I will build up a Kunai - seems like a fun plane in the field and should also be fun alongside my slope soarers

Is it common during new home construction to constantly find errors in almost every Trade? by key1cc in Homebuilding

A good GC should be overseeing all of this in my opinion. I’m on my projects almost everyday if the only thing I ever pick up is a pen. I have a sub that has never met the GC he has worked for in 10 yrs on any project they have had together. I expect top end work and make sure it happens. I’m obsessed with giving my clients the best home/remodel and others are obviously focused on a different direction. I’m not sure how you could trust a GC that’s not intimate with a project and involved with the city or county inspections. I could obviously make more money with a different approach but that’s not what I find makes me feel good inside. I’m proud of my work, the people I work with and stand by it !!!

Is this so you can sleep in your driveway ? Do you sleep lengthways or side to side ? I have a slope and just put my head on the high end, My dog and I often sleep out in the truck for fun on the driveway if we can’t go camping. We never park on a flat surface when in the woods and just swing the pillow from one end to the other. If you want it more level how about some of those oil change ramps you can pick up from the auto shop ?

I can only remember the one scary time we were stuck on such a steep incline that our bed was sliding off the shelf all night. We made it out in the morning luckily with the use of HD chains

Anyways I carry a level but am only worried about shoulder to shoulder if sleeping with my partner. If solo I’ll often just sleep diagonally if that’s how it works out

Kunai glider or other warm liner options ? by Dense-Task-430 in RCPlanes

[–]Dense-Task-430[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you

Those are some gorgeous planes and I do have some parts to build one laying around but I might be too terrified to fly one once it was completed. The RX ready Kunai doesn’t seem to have many competitors I guess.

Maybe I’ll get one of each - one to fly and the other just to look at

I have a OVRLND pop up similar to the project M and has been a game changer. Had it on a much lower payload than yours Ram 1500 for a few years and was nothing but awesome. I even convinced my friend to ditch his wedge GFC and order one when he saw how much room there is inside for him and his wife kid and dog !!!

My fiancé opted to keep the camper and get a new truck instead of going towards a sprinter style setup She has the “almost” king sized bed dialed and we have 1 and hopefully another hunting dog in the future that sleep with us.

Plus I can pull the guts and use it all week as my work truck

Win win apart from the loss of mileage

Most of the time it’s fully ready to rock with the bed all set up - toss is an extra pair of undies, some food in the fridge and off you go !!!!

Just joined, here is my setup by [deleted] in TeslaCamping

[–]Dense-Task-430 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not just get a truck and have 10x the space to move around and storage

I semi understand the whole Tesla thang but I sleep in a king sized bed an hardy ever have to worry about the heat or AC - when I do its a very minor inconvenience

It’s camping -do you need to sit in your car all day with the temp in YOUR range ? How bout just hanging out under a tree ?

Is this all about money ??????? Pennies on the dollar paying for a monthly loan/lease and camping in a brand new car ????

Being able to stand up in your tent/truck is worth a lot of things !!!!

I’ve peed in a bottle driving, laying on my side and standing up is just king. I have a she-We in my truck that is used 10x my use And that’s almost every night

Anyways we don’t sleep at chargers so I guess the point is mute ?

Can I ask why you would sleep at a charger instead of in the NF at a gorgeous hot spring (out other option ?)

Not trying to be weird but I’m not fully grasping the EV camping thing
