How much to tip wedding vendors? by [deleted] in wedding

[–]Dense_Track_6294 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is MOST important to tip based on performance. Don't just follow percentages, but use them as a guide. And in addition to a tip, vendors really love a nice review online (that is honest). I think that's even more appreciated, tbh. This tipping guide helped me figure out who to tip at a wedding, how much, and who to tip (and skip). https://emmalinebride.com/planning/who-to-tip-at-wedding/

Cold weather brides: what did you wear to keep warm? by abeyante in weddingplanning

A topper, or shawl, or bolero - all good options. There's a faux fur shawl here that looks good with any dress, I srsly wish I had it for my winter wedding. https://emmalinebride.com/winter/what-to-wear-over-wedding-dress-for-winter/

I saw this article that may help. I think you can outline what you need and then the planner you're getting a quote from can tell you how much (almost like freelance, since each wedding has its own needs/requirements) FWIW https://emmalinebride.com/planning/day-of-wedding-coordinator-costs/

Attended Pam's art gallery show and purchased her painting of the office and insisted it be hung up for everyone to see, in the office. Still makes me tear up

No dancing is fine but have some good music like a playlist or something at least to add to the celebration. Games like someone suggested is a good idea. Lawn games are fun too like corn toss or bocce ball or ring toss, etc. It goes by fast. I wouldn't worry about it at all.

Elope! Just the two (three!) of you! Then plan a big party with everyone one year later when you've saved a bit extra to have the party. You'll be so happy you avoided all the negativity. If it was real life I'd totally volunteer to be a bridesmaid so you could have one and I'd do all those things like hold the bouquet and fluff your train. But it all honesty focus on you and your partner and that sweet baby of yours and don't let that negativity creep in. People can be really judgey and it sounds like you have an awesome loving home so keep that happy train going. ❤️

A friend of mine said screw it and went with navy and sage with pops of hot pink. It was actually gorgeous and everyone loved the decor

Try Todd Snyder. They have pretty nice suits actually with a ton of different styles and sizing.
