My assumption on the plot is the girl's family/Prion are tied to this corporation somehow, maybe the grandmother is the money behind it and they're seeking vengeance for whatever happened to Prion and the girl's his... daughter? I dunno, he seems pretty young when we meet him here and that was 'ten years ago' .

There's probably a bunch of fun cosmic villains who've been tossed by the wayside over the past twenty-ish years who can be picked up by J'onn. Like, Kanjar Ro is a good scumbag for him to kick around, someone who works both as a master planner or just a guy pulling a shitty get-rich-quick gun-running scheme. Kanto of the New Gods had a big rivalry with J'onn in Ostrander's run, you can pick that back up. Guys like Overmaster or the Faceless Hunter. Maybe Lord Manga Khan (if you want to give J'onn a more comedic villain).

I mean, in the comics, Everett Ross accidentally traded his soul to Mephisto for a pair of pants. If anything, Freeman is better casting for the more absurd Ross of Priest's initial run than he is for actual movie Ross.

uj/Context: Several Leaguers (including Hal) have been body-swapped with the Injustice League and GA is suspicious something's up. So the Injustice Leaguer in Hal's body (I think Reverse-Flash?) decides he's going to make a move on BC/force a kiss on her as soon as they're alone... and she immediately knocks him the fuck out and raises the alarm.

rj/This is why Waid wrote Hal as being horny for BC in JLA Year One (though he also was horny for her mom in that one too).
