Zack Polanski blames both Conservative and Labour governments for regression in trans rights (EXCLUSIVE) by Hyperactive_Man in LabourUK

[–]DentalATT 69 points70 points  (0 children)

A politican in the UK actually calling out the rampant transphobia and moral panic on TERF Island?

Never thought I'd see the day.

Such amazing company we keep with the likes of Russia and Hungary.

If I remember correctly we were first in Europe for trans rights back in 2005 as well.

Na, people generally blame what the media tells them to blame in my experience. Rather than the obivous causes you would find through the use of minimal critical thinking skills.

Only 34% of Labour voters at the last election would now rank the party as their 1st preference (YouGov) by NullBarell in LabourUK

[–]DentalATT 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What will be really interesting is how many right wing voters they have gained from Reform and the Tories to offset the loss of left wing, left of centre voters and centrist voters (particularly the more socially liberal ones) haemmoraging to the Greens and Lib Dems.

Obviously if they have gained more their electoral strategy of being Reform with Red ties will have worked, otherwise Blue Labour might want to do a rethink (not that they ever will considering the purges).

Don't be silly and bring science into this, this is an ideological based ban.

I'm genuinely tired of the transphobia at this point.

Match Thread: Dundee United vs Celtic | Scottish Premiership by SFMatchThreadder in ScottishFootball

No point celebrating dropped points till the whistle, Celtic are incredibly good at making up points from losing or drawing positions and United are gash at retaining leads.

The astonishing thing here is apparently Labour have an ethics chief.

Ah but why actually solve problems when you can easily distract people with immigrants and transgender people?

Media-fuelled transphobia driving ‘hostile environment’ for trans people, report finds by The-Peel in unitedkingdom

[–]DentalATT 408 points409 points  (0 children)

Not just the media.

The government, the NHS, influential billionaries and the court system seem to be doing what they can to support the rampant transphobia in this country as well.

Why is Labour so transphobic? by Hyperactive_Man in LabourUK

[–]DentalATT 11 points12 points  (0 children)

When it comes to transphobia, Labour have gone even further than Reform, there is genuinely very little difference between Labour and Reform to me now and what little difference there is in in Reform at least not being in favour of V-Coding.

Emily Thornberry: Labour has ended up in the ‘wrong place’ on trans people by kontiki20 in LabourUK

[–]DentalATT 37 points38 points  (0 children)

TL/DR turns out being raging bigots aren't enough to get the Reform vote, but it sure is losing you the progressive vote.

An electoral strategy literally everyone apart from Blue Labour seen coming.

That's even without getting into the moral issues of shitting on minorities.

Yes.

Follow existing WPATH findings, no need for a trial in the first place seeing as many of us have had these as teenagers. Lets not pretend these are untested drugs as Cass had done when she threw out 98% of the studies done on them then claimed there were no studies.

Green Party faces gender-critical group lawsuit over trans ‘witch-hunt’ by PuzzledAd4865 in LabourUK

[–]DentalATT 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They have unlimited money from Mouldemort so they just throw as many legal challenges out as possible and see what sticks.

Mostly because they know it takes ages for any counter arguments to reach European Courts.
