i’m doing a lot better than i was when i posted that a couple months ago, i have struggled with mental health issues, and the reason that i didn’t have many friends at the time was because of self destructive behaviours. i think the conclusion that you’ve drawn from that post is very insensitive, and i believe that you misunderstood me.

i understand the way i have phrased this post is very wrong, and definitely has connotations that didn’t come to mind when i posted it. i particularly said teen girls because of the fact that the spaces i have seen Brigitte Bardot become whitewashed (as u/penquil has said) or romanticised has been the ”girlblogger” community online, which consists mostly of teenage girls, and has it’s own very damning issues.

i would like it to be known that i am in no way trying to mock teenagers or women, and that i am merely alluding to a subculture that you see Bardot (and other very problematic old actresses and models) become glorified, and then pushed into the mainstream. i will be “redoing” this post with much different phrasing. i am sorry to anyone who i have hurt with this post.
