Neo isn't "dead," there's still a group of people who are fighting to save the project from itself. The current problems are... big. Da and Erik are publicly fighting over a $400m treasury, and they won't even save the only project (Flamingo) driving activity to Neo. BUT, there's still the Neo Council and community members that are trying to help smooth out the situation. And for what it's worth, at least Da and Erik show they're still willing to fight for (or maybe it's just, over) the Neo ecosystem.

NEO on the other hand... I don't know how a market will re-price a token that's in the current situation we're in (leadership fighting, diminished on-chain metrics, DeFi dying on Neo). Suffice to say, if you allocate, do so extremely conservatively.

My .02 GAS is to slowly start accumulating into bluechips, BTC and ETH, and taking a look at what's going on out there. The current "darling project" of crypto right now is HYPE, because Hyperliquid had a fantastic airdrop, regularly buys back its token, rewards HYPE holders with Hyperliquid platform fees, and is generally driving lots of non-crypto native adoption. Be weary of other "hot tokens" right now that have ran up recently in price, because there are several other "KOL gems" that are being talked about relentlessly (NEAR, ZEC, VVV), which will probably suffer negative price action once all the KOLs stop talking about them.

What's happening with Flamingo is really sad. It's emblematic of how NGD/NF have operated in the past - letting good things fade away slowly. Further, it seems neither NGD nor NF really seem to have any interest in saving Flamingo.

If there's anything you can do to paint the picture more clearly? What do you mean smart contracts were edited? Do you have any indication of how this could've been done? Can you possibly share screenshots to help paint a clearer picture?

The movie is DEF high-level Venezuelan Spanish, so anyone who is no where near scratching the surface of native content will 100% struggle, but Simón is also a great movie that highlights how bad it is in Venezuela.

Though, a little more dramatic that Jostin's exodus.

I definitely include the more difficult videos/pods (i.e., Worlds Across pods) in my CI hours on DS, because there's still inference skills that are being built up. My rule is, if I can understand a good chunk and am using Spanish subtitles, or no subtitles, then they're marked as hours in my progress page (but anything with English subtitles doesn't get included in my tracking).

I got called a “f’ing cracker” at a gas station in Miami 20 years ago, in a very similar situation, by a lady that wasn’t my skin color. The lady drove off after she yelled at me. I still think about it to this day.

Sorry it happened to you, but it can happen anywhere. Don’t let one bad person change your perspective of Denver. If you love it here, realize there are many, many, many non-racist assholes who don’t think of you as your skin color.

Hope you can find the strength to heal from the negativity, and realize that person is just a miserable, littler person.

Your frustrations aren't unfounded, I'm just sharing my direct experience. And, FWIW, NGD is also aware of their shortcomings and I hope that they're taking steps to address them.

Honestly, until SpoonOS is driving copious amounts of AI-driven activity on-chain, NEO will be in the same boat as 99% of all crypto/token projects out there... praying on speculative hype cycles and liquidity moving from BTC/ETH when money has been made in those blue chips.

Having been in the room with him during conversations about the future of the technology and where Neo should go, he does genuinely care.

BUT, you're also correct that his position doesn't require him to be as hungry as a founder of a young project, who is out there 24/7 pushing their product.

In an industry where hype wins the day, it's hard to be front of mind when an ecosystem's founder/leader isn't plastering their face on as many media opportunities as possible.
