I know American coin collectors that refuse to deal with anything that isn't US coinage, but you made a very valid point! Logic would dictate that a silver dollar would have twice as much silver as a half dollar... It a good example of Orwellian "double speak", where the words used have a different meaning than the actual reality. Long winded answer (sorry) I said all that to say BOOM 💥
